Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

$590.
Quote from: Bill Todman
"The sign of a good game, is when you don't have to explain it every day. The key is not simplicity, but apparent simplicity. Password looks like any idiot could have made it up, but we have 14 of our people working on that show. There is a great complexity behind the screen. It requires great work to keep it simple."

1233: The price of smelling designer-like is...

tpir04, wasting no time at all, come on up!!

{applause}
{walks to turntable}

I sprayed a bit of the fragrances in here before the show and it did wonders.  :-)

Now that you've officially won them, I feel obligated to thank you by giving you a chance to win a great prize, like that!!! {points over towards door 3}

{door 3 opens}

Announcer: A personal hydrocraft!!! {modeled by Amber}

The Flyride by Zapata Racing offers new thrills for the extremist by combining the controls of a personal watercraft with the latest advancements in computer-aided flight control and gyro stabilization, basically the coolest thing you can ride on the water. The Flyride, a great prize worth $13,095!!!

{loud applause}
{turntable turns}

1233: Around on the turntable comes Bullseye. Now, to win that extravagent prize, you simply need to buy $10 to $12 of 1 of these products. Piece of cake.

Let's hear about the groceries in the game today.

Announcer: All of the products in the game today represent some of the most iconic smells I could think of, at least when I was growing up.  :-)

First, we have a 1.76oz tin of wintergreen mints

Next is a 5.5oz tube of sour cream & onion potato crisps

We have a 7oz raspberry scented gel air freshener

Then a 10.5oz box of milk chocolate covered orange sticks

And finally a 5 pack of whiteboard markers

There they are, 123

{applause}

1233: Did you really sniff markers when you were younger?

Announcer: Don't try to tell me you didn't either

{pauses for a second}

1233: Fair enough. Where shall we start?

{crowd yells, holds up different number of fingers}

Hmmmmmm...

I feel like I know how much these all cost but I'm not certain, and a 5 or 10 cent difference on an item may make or break my chances. I'll try 6 cans of Pringles and see what happens.

$8.94. Close, but not quite.

Grab another item and shoot it at the board with your bow.  :-)

Ugh, my gut said 7 but I shaved, hoping they were a little more expensive.

Hmm, dry erase markers. Boy did I get my fill of those in school. What a treasure it was to find one that wasn't dried up  :oldlol: I'll take 4 packs, please.

1233: Now you want three of the gel air fresheners. Each one is...

{pulls tab}

{groans from crowd}

...wow. The total comes out to...

...$2.91. I don't think I've ever had to put a marker that high up on the board.  :-)

Well you didn't hit the bullseye, but not all is lost.

If there is a hidden bullseye behind the chips or the freshener, you are somehow still a winner.

{applause}

Is it behind the chips?

{pulls tab}

{buzz}

No luck there, it all depends on this air freshener.

Come on, show us a bullseye!!!

{pulls tab}

{buzz}
{losing horns}

Aww, well that sucks, I really wanted you to win

{pointing to the markers} I hope the bullseye wasn't here.

{pulls tab}

OK, there it was behind the mints. I still hope you had fun and we might see you later in the show.

One more pricing game coming up after this break.

{commercial break}
