As someone who gives away a lot of things that belong in an arcade, I'm not sure what to make of this one. I'll say $1,800!

1233: The price of the gaming console is...

{clang, clang, clang, clang}
{oohs and aahs from audience}

Well, well, well. One of you seemed to realize it's now or never.

{reaches into pocket}

The game console and the $500 bonus goes to the bidder who bid...

...so JayC escapes! Join me up here on stage.

{loud applause}

So nice of you to join us at this particular point in time.

Now you know there is no way we were going to go the whole show without trying to give away one of these!!

{door 3 opens}

Announcer: It's a brand new car!!! {modeled by Manuela}

This silver 2020 Nissan Pathfinder S 4WD comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission, emergency road kit and a enclosed hatch tent. The Nissan Pathfinder!!!

{loud applause}

1233: Now if you thought we were going to play anything other than Pathfinder for a Pathfinder, you obviously don't understand how this show is run. :-D

Anyways, the first number in the price of that SUV is 3, so let's go ahead and light that up.

{ding}

Now the next number is either the nine to your left, the zero in front of you, the two to your right or the four behind you.

Hopefully you get it right, but if not, we have these three small items over by Amber that can help you continue down the right path. What are the items today, Mr. Announcer?

Announcer: First, we have this compass that has a tungsten steel needle and a notched rotating bezel that's great for leading you down the right path

Next, we have this family board game for up to 8 people in which the goal is to win by forcing your opponents off the right path

And finally, we have this handheld GPS navigator that has a 2.2" monochrome display, over 20 hours of battery life and is great at sending you down, you guessed it, the correct trail right path!!!

{applause}

1233: Now where would you like to step first?

{audience pointing in different directions}

Only $599? That might be something to pencil in to a future basement...

(from the audience)  2 for the next number!

***PEANUT GALLERY***

A base level Pathfinder S starts at the mid to high $32,xxx range from what I remember, so 0 can be ruled out.  However, $32,xxx is for a front-wheel drive Pathfinder S, and this is a 4WD car, which I believe adds about $2,000 (for a total now of $34,xxx), so 2 can be ruled out as well.  I also feel like the 9 can be ruled out since that list of options doesn't seem like it adds that much to the price.  I'd very strongly suggest go with the 4 first, and if that is somehow wrong, go with the 9 as an alternate choice (since 4 being wrong implies that those options add at minimum almost $5,000).

And also, in case the 4 is indeed right, I'd suggest going with the 8 for the third number.

Oh yeah, and also: I'm far less sure about this, but I don't think that's a $119 GPS, so I'd suggest going $259 for the GPS in the event you get something wrong.

Wow, I almost went $600 instead of $599 and then decided to stay with the -99 ending bids, so that was definitely the right choice!

Hmm, I hear someone that sounds like they know their (Nissan) Pathfinders in the audience, so let's go with 4!

1233: One step down, three to go.

Next is either the five to your left, the one to your right or the eight behind you.

I heard 8 from that person, but I'm gonna go with my own gut and try 5. *steps on the 5*

{eroooooooo}
{steps back to the right}

1233: That was your first error, but all is still fine.

Please tell me the price of one of these prominent path products.

*Peanut Gallery*

So, I might have been trying create a HYO with It's Optional and two Nissan Versas, and I might have remembered that the emergency road kit is worth exactly $66, and after playing around with the Versa and a Kicks, the destination costs consistently ended for me in a 5 (I forget if it was $965 or $1,095, but it's one of those two). YMMV, but I think that if that tent ends in a 0, along with 9001's help, I'd guess $34,891.

I'd also go $119 on the GPS. That smells like a trap to make you think the more expensive one.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

If you mean the compass, the choices are $11 or $32 NOT $22. In fact $22 is not a choice for any of the prices, so that doesn't help him at all.

{flips tag down}

OK, now the audience has giving you a lot to think about. Are you going to the one or the eight?
