Bob very clearly hands the contestant the 25 cent voucher right out the gate. (Well, as "right out the gate" as that bloated playing could get.)

I think he's referring to balls that fail to land in a circle. In some cases (usually if the ball was thrown hard enough to roll back down) he would give the contestant a do-over, but other times he would scold the contestant and count it as 0.

If the ball rolled back to the player, I don't remember Bob not giving the player a re-roll. I was referring to the possibility that the ball was rolled just hard enough to roll off the far edge of the ramp, but didn't get enough height to reach the $50 area - that was possible, and when that happened, it was counted as a zero.

You are of course correct. When I skimmed the Youtube video of the first playing before I made my post, I didn't see the 25 cent voucher in Bob's hand. My mistake--I do appreciate the correction!

The way I’m interpreting this question is in which pricing games can the contestant do everything correctly and still not win the main prize because the game ultimately comes down to random luck. Off the top of my head Secret X, Plinko, and half off come to mind.
