I like how they modified Accelerator to make it fit on Price, even though it felt like an alternate version of Spelling Bee. The GPs were really easy to place in order.

I would say That's Too Much was difficult since the correct choice was the 3rd one, but given how much the first choice was it wasn't as difficult.

I'm surprised there wasn't more difference between the Florida and Utah trips in Do the Math. Pretty easy decision to go minus, with Florida being further away.

1/2 Off being played 6th was definitely a surprise.

I like how they modified Accelerator to make it fit on Price, even though it felt like an alternate version of Spelling Bee. The GPs were really easy to place in order.

Honestly, back in S44 I thought of the same Spelling Bee comp.

In retrospect and more thought, it's closer to Hole in One or Two than it is Spelling Bee. Only thing in common are the bailout option and the C-A-R part.

Today's show was nice, especially with the Accelerator win.

Shopping Spree almost felt like grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory. By pure relative size, it felt like the range set should have been the clear pick, but it's never that straightforward on stage.

The first half of the show seemed to fly by, but then I realized that they had to accommodate Accelerator. Not necessarily bad, but it felt like that segment took forever.

Speaking of which, Accelerator, along with Gold Rush (which will probably show up later this week), seemed to be the easiest to turn into a somewhat original pricing game.

It might just be me and my odd mind, but the moment Brittany started saying "twenty-three thousand, four", I thought for sure she was going to end with 56. THAT would have been crazy. Would that have been met with as much backlash as the previous perfect bid?

The second showcase was also a nice touch as a way to continue the mash up theme. Overall, I'm liking how this week is shaping up.

Shopping Spree: that should've been won. May have been a classic case of nerves getting to the contestant.

That's Too Much: When I saw the first price was almost $23,000, I figured the 3rd one would be correct, as that's the earliest choice that is ever right these days.

Accelerator: I agree this works very well on the show as long as they make the GPs relatively easy like they did today. I know it won't happen, but I could see this being a regular game in the rotation with some small tweaks.

I don't think so, because a) AFAIK, Ted Slauson wasn't in the audience (he was well-known to the producers before the perfect bid) and b) It's feasible to dumb luck into a bid of all consecutive digits.

I thought it was odd that the contestant was guaranteed $2,000 if she didn't give up any cash to remove a strike from the bag. I thought the money would be a bailout and would go down with each strike. She was clearly thinking about the $2,000 and not the car.

And as we move though another TPIR/LMAD mashup week, I also wish we could have seen Bob Barker appear on the latter show and Monty Hall walk through the big doors on the former.

Unfortunately it was reported I believe last year that Bob would no longer make public appearances because of his health and the amount of time it took him to get ready for his last appearance. I suppose video call could be an option if set up for him, but I wouldn't count on that either.

Accelerator: I apparently mixed up the yogurt and the Planters.  Oh well.  It was a nice win for this game in the second Mash Up era.

That's Too Much: THAT'S TOO FAR!!!!!  I did the same mistake Julie did.  Ugh.

Half Off: The setup was difficult SP wise.  I bombed the first set, thinking the Mandoline Set was half off.  I made the same mistake Brittany did on the oil diffuser.  The third SPs was the only set that was easy.  As for the box pickings, Brittany picked 6 and I picked 12.  UGH.  At least Brittany had the right idea though picking a single digit box.  I don't know what I was thinking though...

I've been mildly disappointed they've played the exact same Deal games with the exact same rules as 4 years ago while Deal is branching out into Dice & 3X, but I guess there's a limited number of options.

Thank you for explaining this because, earlier today, I was lamenting her for not going for it while discussing with a friend. I thought she had a far better chance of winning the car (or at least getting to the final 50:50 pull) without having to price the car/risk putting numbers back in the bag and redrawing them for not placing them correctly. I thought this was far too easy to win a car comparing it to how the game is normally played on Price. Surprised it's not that much different.

Although, I didn't completely agree with the reasoning of using the $2K to help buy a new car when you're probably not getting a car as nice as that for $2K down (or less after taxes). But maybe she didn't need one that nice.
