There is no show tomorrow that's new. Due to the COVID 19 taping situation, tomorrow is a rerun of last year's show. Here is a link to that episode. We shall reconvene on Monday.

I know, the episode was great with a 4+Plinko/6, but can we talk about the travesty of the contestant who came down eighth? Clearly he was a LFAT, since one doesn't dig up Captain Giveaway on their shirt unless they regularly watch the show, and he was only over by less than $100 both times at Contestants' Row. The first time is understandable; he probably thought that the TV was worth $1,600 and each of the bean bag chairs were $180, so he probably just slightly overshot on the value of those chairs. Even Drew Carey audibly groaned when he saw that the contestant was over very slightly. The second time was a real shame; he must of thought the drums and guitar were around $900 each, and the show must have edited out a full minute and a half of him contemplating if he should one-up $1,850 or take the wide range of $1,200 to $1,800. Ultimately, he must have looked to his dad, who plays guitar as a hobby, and thought that he should go a little more aggressive, which cost him.

Heck, despite not coming on stage, I'd nominate him as the best player of the season. Nay, not even season, decade. Nay, not even decade, history of gameshows.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

Well, at least this year's High School kids did a hell of a lot better than last year's kids! Now, we can only hope that the College kids will either meet that or, hopefully, beat that by making the first perfect show of the season!

Ah, it's fine. To be honest, I'm more happy about the small victories; I'm glad that I was able to go to another Price taping before the world changed for the worse. I'm glad that Stan told me after a thirty second lecture on Time is Money that I was a big fan of the show. And I'm glad I got called on down, because I wouldn't have ever expected ever in my life.

and that I get a $300 cash consolation prize, yet my family gets $400 worth of Big Joe gift cards.

The week of 4/20 had a W-L record (for non-purists on Plinko) of 20-4.

Lecture? Of why most contestants play it bad? :P

I rarely comment on shows here anymore, but that lineup deserves a mention for how funky it was. And I thought Safe for a car had gone extinct! When's NOW OR THEN returning, huh?

Oh, I didn't notice that at first. Does that mean that Kids Week is officially over?

They're reairing last year's College special tomorrow to round out Kids Week. Production was shut down before this year's show was taped.

Also, congrats 9821! Enjoy your spinning star!

"Nobody cares about the guest stars." - Roger Dobkowitz

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Congrats to you making it on the show, 9821!

I was watching today's TPIR episode, and didn't even notice it was you.

It must have felt great to be one of the 9 contestants selected to "come on down" out of the 300 something audience members.

Sure, you didn't make it out of contestant's row, but at least you have the satisfaction of coming on down, as I said above.

Hopefully, your appearance on TPIR is a sign of many great things to come.

Again, congratulations.

Hi Sinclaire!

Not a frequent poster here, but I didnít notice that you were here today. I paid attention to the girls...and that guy who was wearing his ďI love my wifeĒ shirt (LOL!). Too bad you didnít escape the contestant row, but it happens.
