I too chose “+” in Do the Math and would have won, but like Drew I didn’t expect the price of the Miami trip to be so high.

Eazy Az 1-2-3: Thankfully, Demetries switched blocks 2 and 3 at the end. Rarely is 1-2-3 the right solution.

Do the Math: Trip rule comes through again! People don't realize how far Massachusetts is from LA. The following flights are shorter than LA-Boston, which comes in at 2,611 miles:

LA-Anchorage, Alaska: 2,345 miles
LA-Honolulu, Hawaii: 2,556 miles
LA-Nassau, Bahamas: 2,525 miles
Boston-Reykjavík, Iceland: 2,413 miles
Boston-Bogotá, Colombia: 2,599 miles

Lucky $even: Ouch. They like using 9 as the last digit in this game, so when Kathleen said 5 for the last digit, I had a bad feeling she was hosed.

I felt bad about the Pathfinder loss that’s a tough game, but I’m also not sure missing out on a Mitsubishi Mirage is really a bad thing unless it comes with a lifetime membership to AAA to help you tow it.
