Is The Weakest Link Fremantle? That's coming back apparently.

I think The Weakest Link is through BBC Worldwide EvilChameleon. And it's going to be interesting to see what Rich will be doing for Fremantle and if it's related to the ABC revival of Supermarket Sweep or some other project they have planned.

Taking the word of someone with 11 posts here? Okay.

Posts that throughout the years have implied he works for the show or has inside knowledge. I'd take his word over a lot of others on here

The important thing is... how many of his posts have been accurate?

He might have some competition if he wants the Sweep gig.  Turns out good ol' David Ruprecht is interested also:

Interesting. If that goes through would it be the first time an announcer was a host in a previous iteration of the same show?

No, Marc Summers announced the Double Dare reboot a couple years ago.  Not sure about any others though.

Cookie Masterson announced the short-lived ABC version of You Don’t Know Jack, but hosted every other “version”.

Cookie Masterson is a fictional video game character, but it kinda counts.

Jack Narz hosted Beat The Clock from 1969-72, then was the announcer on Monty Hall's version in 1979.

If Wink Martindale had hosted Hollywood's Talking instead of Geoff Edwards, we'd have an interesting situation cause Martindale was announcer on the predecessor Everybody's Talking, hosted by Lloyd Thaxton. (It was also a much superior version.)

Would be interesting if they woud've counted in that situation given they were under different names.

He just posted a video a few minutes ago, announcing his new career move. It appears he is going to be the spokesman for the Moving Families Initiative.

I had to look this one up myself, and this is what I got from their website.

"The Moving Families Initiative® (MFI) is an international plan focused on serving, protecting, and meeting the needs of parents moving or relocating with children, ages 19 and younger, including the teachers and coaches who work with their children.

Leverage the expertise of certified "Moving Families Initiative Preferred Real Estate Agents™ Trusted Advisors", who provide comprehensive products and services to help you and your family achieve a successful transition."
I support The Price is Right.

All that for nothing.

Somehow I'm not surprised.
