Time is Money! One of my favorite games! :-)    I did think the winning arrangement was difficult to figure out, but I was certainly correct in saying “No” each time the contestant tried one with nothing on the “$6 and up” pad.

Bad luck in Any Number.

Any #: That's why you should be very wary of picking the 0 and the 5, especially early.

Time i$ Money: Full credit to Courtney for moving fast, though she should've left at least one item on each platform. But that was a tough setup--I would've never guessed that canned vegetables would be almost $5.

Check Game: With the minimum value of prizes in 1-prize games being $5,000, there's no reason to write the check for more than $3,000.

Asparagus is just one of those veggies, I guess it's harder and more expensive to grow, and a limited season.  It's the one that's usually not included in the sales in frozen and canned goods, and the fresh is "cheap" (at around $2/lb., when you only eat about half of what it weighs) about 3/4 times a year for a couple weeks each time - apparently as each area comes into season.

The shampoo may be hard too, not knowing what brand it was, as that can vary from $2 or $3 to $10+ depending on brand.

The rare aired overbid on IUFB #6!  They must have had some extra time after running out of "Gas" early the game before.
