Thank god the audience got her to change the prices for both the luggage and the popcorn cart. It paid off.

Ahhhhhhhh! The heartbreak! It seemed Daniel was heading his way to winning after getting 4 cars in his first roll! Then  blew it in his last 2 rolls. Why oh why?!

It took forever on that. I thought she would never pull down the lever to freeze the price. The outcome didn't make things even better.

Those prices were bound to be switched. Good for me and for Larry.

I would get all of the SPs right. She got half with $500 after giving up the full $1,000.

Great that Monica knew how to play the Dice Game furthermore like it. However when she rolled a 3 on third number and said higher it was more the pity. Unfortunately that's what happened.

I wanted Larry to win the second showcase showdown.

Boy did Daniel garfed on his bid in that showcase. Although he wasn't over I knew he wasn't going to win either.

PG #1:  Yay!  Half-Off cue in Clearance Sale!  :-P  And a rare Clearance win, too.  Thank you, audience.

PG #2:  Roll again?  Didn't we just see this a week and a half ago?  Painful loss today.

PG #3:  Tough setup.  I saw three prices that it could have been:  $8,672, $7,228, or $7,035.  I knew $5,286 was a loser.  And is it me or did the "86" look like an upside-down "98"?

PG #4:  LOL at the "Barker's Rack" comment from Bob.  Easy switch.

PG #5:  Punchy in the 5 hole?!  What's next, Roger--Dice Game on the same show as Let 'Em Roll?

PG #6:  NO WAY!  Dice on the same show as Roll!

Showcase #1:

Showcase #2:  A game room and a Mexican cruise?  Is that it?!

My showcase bids:
FRBS--$29,353
FRCS--$12,390

Result:  NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!  A $3 OVERBID!
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".

Clearance Sale: I wonder if I would have considered the audience's reaction after doing what Wendy did, because that was my initial setup.

Let 'em Roll: Of course I would've gone on with four cars. That was just terrible tough lucketh.

Freeze Frame: Well, this time, I acutally thought 5286 would work, despite what the audience thinks.

Switch?: So, motorcycles like that can cost over $3000, huh? (Now that I think about it, that did happen a few times before.)

Punch-A-Bunch: That $1000 was a stop for me. Vivian's husband was right.

One Bid 6: So the first spot is still an unlucky one, huh?

Dice Game: The [5] was really a tough one for me. I had to find out what the car was again to see if I really wanted to press my luck and say higher than that. Another tough lucketh moment here.

Showcases: At least I knew Daniel's bid was just too low.

Clearance Sale-Yay, a win finally!

Let 'em Roll-OUCH, a painful loss!  He had it won, but that last die wouldn't go his way.

Freeze Frame-Hmmm, I wonder if that's the longest playing we've seen in this game. :-P

Switch?-A good decision, and a nice way to start the 2nd half.  Larry walks home with a [d]Barker's[/d] Baker's rack and a TV.

Punch-a-Bunch-This game is still on a cold streak.  I woner if we'll see one more $10,000 winner before Bob goes.

Dice Game-Another painful loss!  Out of the past 7 playings of this game, 6 of the contestants rolled a 3 for the 3rd number!  And this is the 5th time in a row someone has done that!

Clearance Sale:  The audience was right in making Wendy change her mind on that one!

Let 'em Roll:  Oh the humanity!  Oh the heartbreak for Daniel!  Those cubes were EVIL today!  :-x

Freeze Frame:  This one was kind of tricky, as there were several logical choices to choose from.

Switch?:  Easy pickin's...

Punch-a-Bunch:  GRRR...I would've bailed on that $1000, but $500 ain't bad at all.  It cost me a Doubler though!  :headbang:

Dice Game:  The evil three strikes us again...  :-(

Showcases:  :gotc: on Showcase #1!

OVERALL SHOW GRADE:  B
I just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for your love, affection and loyalty to me, drew, the models and.... The Price is Right....thank you for being such a "Loyal Friend & True". -Rich Fields (in an e-mail sent to me on 3/17/2010)

That was a pretty simple setup for Clearance Sale. Wendy should thank the audience for saving her.

Daniel's luck was looking so good after his first roll, and he gets skunked, rolling $500 twice in a row.

There were three or four acceptable choices for that trip to Malaysia. I knew $8672 was the one to go with. Too bad Alexa froze the frame one too late.

Switch? was easy. Baker's Racks are never worth that much, and motorcycle prices end in 9 frequently.

I guess Vivian did okay with Punchboard. $1000 is a middle-of-the-road prize to give up or keep.

I was hoping Monica would win Dice Game. That third digit got her though, and I was afraid of that. She did go with the odds though, so you can't blame her. Those cheap Aveos and Cobalts usually have a third digit of 1 or 2 ($15,265 or $15,135). She played the other rolls fine.

I knew Daniel has bid way too low on his showcase. Monica had that in the bag.

Best Contestant- Monica

Showcase #1- $28,750
Difference- $600

Showcase #2- $16,000
Difference- $1374

Two dice/rolling games and two games involving cash was interesting to see today.

Clearance Sale: Audience Saved Wendy from that lost.

Let Em Roll: EVIL DICE!

Switch: Easy, $2200 seemed way too low for the motorcycle.

Punch: At least $500 is better than nothing.

Dice Game: I thought Monica had that.

SC1: GARF!  That boat is at least $24,000.

Opening: not too bad....i suppose

although Rich's voice sounded like it was gonna go again  (poor guy) :-(

Let 'Em Roll: OUCH! that was really a painful loss

Dice Game:  (finally) another somewhat painful loss

???- does anyone know why Bob had a bandage on the back of his hand (the mic hand <<---not sure which hand it was on...didn't notice it at first-- well, not until SCSD #2)
< loves it when Drew Carey attempts to make an inspiration putt, and when it misses the hole, he just does a little second putt with the ball to sink it

( as was in his 500th show) ROFL!!!

Ouch, that was one painful Dice Game loss.  Especially since there was only one POSSIBLE way to lose, if you played by the odds.  As long as you didn't roll a 3 for the third number, you won.  That was as close to a forced win as you can get in Dice Game and it was still lost.  Roger can't have been too happy over that one.

Clearance: The audience persuading Wendy to change the prices pays off well.

Roll: The last two rolls were downright mean.

Freeze: I had a feeling it was $8500+.

Switch?: Very nice.

Punch: Turning down $1K for $500 may have not been brilliant, but it was bravely riskful.

Dice: Too bad.

Showcases: Showcase #1.... :gotc: ...maybe of the year.

A 2.50-star show.
