Audience Warm Up Requests Working With Bob on Stage?

Guys,

I have two questions about the Barker era. We all know the classic interactions with contestants going insane after a pricing game win.  Bob getting picked up and tossed around Samoan style LOL!  My related questions are the following:

1.) In the early seasons of the show say from 1972-1980, was anything said about "Don't Hurt Bob" or "Don't go Crazy if you win your pricing game?" (But contestants did it anyway.)

2.) After the incidents particularly with Samoan's, did Bob begin to mandate that in the audience warm-ups that it be said, that if you win, don't touch him in an aggressive manner? When did that practice start?

As a side-note, this style might have carried over to the Drew era, because excited winners seem more to scream and not go after him.
