In a game with multiple trips, the destination furthest from LA is usually the most expensive. So “Flip Flop” doesn’t qualify for it.

We’ve seen cheap Patagonia multiple times, so I don’t think this was a surprise to many of us. It’s one of the rare destinations that is much cheaper than expected.

I think I remember a WHEEL ep from S24 where a trip to Patagonia was worth $7,600 ($9,666 in today’s money), which was why the trip value from this ep was kinda surprising to me (I’m not a frequent watcher till now due to COVID-19).

Nevertheless, I’ll be aware of the cheap trip value of Patagonia next time (And the laptop.).

Price trips are almost-always less expensive than Wheel's. I often see basically the same trips between both shows, and they'll be worth over $10K on Wheel but only around $7K on Price.

^ I guess you're right on that.

EDIT: Well, on some cases. I do remember one trip to Aruba (Divi Dutch) being worth $9,700 this season when that same trip on WHEEL was worth just $8,300.

Adam, I just want to convey my appreciation to you for the great recaps for this AND past seasons of The Price is Right.  You do an exceptional job.  I just have one request, though... have a heart and be just a little lenient on PLINKO.  (lol.)  Anyway, I'll keep you and your family in my prayers and pray that you will comeback for possibly Season 49 of the Longest running Game Show on American Television.

Stay safe and be blessed, my friend.

Thanks for another great season.

May we meet up again ... sometime ... during the 2020-2021 season, whenever it starts.

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!
