Per NBC News, hearings are slated to start October 12.
From what I have heard, there will be "public" Judiciary Committee hearings 10/12-15, then once the committee votes (scheduled for 10/22), it will go to the full Senate, presumably starting Monday 10/25.

I wonder if they'll still reair the Chrissy Teigen episode or choose another episode instead because of her unfortunate pregnancy loss announcement.

Ugh, do we really need to see the Bad Moms Christmas episode again?

It's the only episode I ever turned off early.

Heads up when it comes to this week's schedule, based on the updated CBS website schedule:

The Aisha Tyler episode was moved from Thursday to today , replacing the Chrissy Teigen one , which was completely removed from the schedule.
The Thursday episode is now a Season 47 episode of DCW ( Day 1 with Jay Leno )

Why did they pull the Chrissy Teigen episode, you think?

She just had a miscarriage 5 days ago. To be safe, they probably pulled the episode ( even thought it was a rerun ) so the show wouldn't get bad press about showing her on it after she went through a terrible tragedy after losing a unborn child.

Yes, it was safer for them to not air her episode after her pregnancy loss and possibly get bad press as a result. Plus, there's casual viewers that don't realize when they're airing reruns and think the show is live, so there would've been people on social media wondering why she is doing this just days after.

I don't think anyone believes the show is live......or even would necessarily think they are doing full audience shows now, so that'd be a stretch. I can see them fearing bad PR though, but not because of that.

Believe me, I've seen a fair amount of people think the show is live.

So when TPIR is a rerun, do they think they brought in all the same contestants to re-enact everything?  :-P

The concept of "reruns" in and of itself would be a revelation to them (at least as far as game shows are concerned)

The Senate has published an "official" schedule saying that the Judiciary Committee hearings on the nomination will take place Monday-Thursday, 10/12-15, starting each day at 9 AM Eastern. It does not say how long each day's hearing will last.

Which brings up a question: if a hearing runs past noon Eastern but ends before 10 Pacific, does the scheduled episode air out west, or not? Of course, the usual policy with repeats is that the scheduled repeat would air, but since these are "special" repeats, what happens?
