CSS Results for June 5 (Semifinals)

We began the day with a field of four contestants, all Loyal Friends And True of TPiR, all worthy competitors. But alas, only two could remain. Two pairs:

Gatorman vs. namnhu12
&
LudwigMackdaddy vs. BuddyTom


First showcase: Furnitured! A dining room, china, nothing too big. A year's supply of Shari's Berries. And then ::KLANG:: A TRIP! TO BANGKOK! AGH!

Second showcase: Cell phone, Pool Table, ::BONK:: BOAT! And not an American Sail or Reinell or Crestliner.

The upshot was as follows:

Second showcase revealed first, showing that all but one of us had semi-GARFed the boat. First showcase reveal: ARGH!

In his quest to emulate me... LudwigMackdaddy went a little too far and BuddyTommed on SC1. It could have been a brilliant bid, but alas, it was not meant to be. Good job making it to the semi-finals, and likewise to namnhu12, the only player to get an exacta  this season!

WTG Buddy tom and  Gator---  I am thrilled Buddy tom is in the finals and my small pain from getting the boat is that i backed out of 16667 on the furn. ..  No matter .. I am still shocked and thrilled I got to the semis and wish BT and GM lots of luck monday in finals

Would you look at that; a battle of the CSS hosts. Looks like the glass slipper finally shattered for Ludwig. Should be an interesting CSS Finals. I didn't come into chat today because I stayed up late last night, and I figured there was no reason for me to wake up early with no sleep since I'm no longer in the playoffs. I might be here tomorrow, though.

So how is this going to work?  Are you going to be exchanging scorecards with each other or something?  I personally recommend a 3rd party gets the bids from you two.

I suppose if Jordanar18 or Robair is there and willing, we could both submit to him. In any case, Gator and I regularly submit to each other and we haven't had any troubles. Besides, the chat log includes all private messages and can be consulted by an auditing firm to keep us honest.
