In other news, a first in the making for the Vanderbilt Commodores as Sarah Fuller becomes the first woman to play in a Power Five football game, including the SEC. While Missouri beat them 41-0, I hope it will be a sign that women can play football like the men at a high level.

Probably will be among the Top 5 selections for the C'Mon, Man segment for ESPN's Monday Night Countdown

Georgia-Vanderbilt is now postponed. The Georgia-Missouri game from a couple of weeks back is now scheduled for next week. (Not that it will do the Dawgs any good apart from a decent bowl game.)

Not to mention the fact that whatever bowl game Georgia ends up in may get cancelled

Bad news for Ohio State: The Ohio State-Michigan game has been canceled due to Michigan's COVID situation. Disappointing, as Ohio State-Michigan is 1 of the 2 best rivalry games in college football along with the Iron Bowl, but totally necessary and expected given the circumstances. So what's the true bad news for Ohio State? The answer is that this cancelation means that Ohio State will end up with only 5 games and not get the 6 games required by the Big 10 to play in the Big 10 Championship Game. Without getting the opportunity to play in the Big 10 Championship game, you do have to wonder if they'll fall from the top 4 if Clemson and Florida beat Notre Dame and Alabama in the ACC and SEC Championship games, potentially making those the 4 teams.
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

A couple of updates:

The Big Ten has eliminated the 6 game minimum so Ohio State is set to play in the Big Ten Championship game next week.

Meanwhile, ESPN and the SEC have come to an agreement that will make the ESPN Family of Networks the exclusive TV carrier of SEC football and basketball starting in 2024.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/30492065/sec-espn-strike-10-year-deal-college-football-basketball-starting-2024

We only played 3 games (losing 2) because of cancelations, but it was awesome to see my Sun Devils finish their season with a 70-7 win over Arizona tonight as D.J. Taylor returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown  the defense got 7 takeaways,   Jaden Daniels  threw 2 touchdown passes, and the Sun Devils scored 7 rushing touchdowns What a fantastic all around performance.  :)

Ho-hum. Alabama 52, Arkansas 3. Just a warm up for the SEC game.

Man, Miami is really laying an egg right now with a potential Orange Bowl berth on the line. SMH at how incredibly poorly Miami is playing.

Goodbye, Gators! Florida suffers a stunning loss to the Bayou Bengals 37-34 in part because of Marco Wilson making the dumbest shoe toss ever. No playoffs for Florida.

I think Alabama and Ohio State win next week and Clemson beats Notre Dame to make those the 4 teams. If some reason 1 of those teams falls out I have no clue who'd be next line. Iowa State? Cincinnati? Someone else? My gut feeling is the long expected 4 will be the 4 though.

Gators are a 2-TD underdog against Bama for the SEC title. Kyle Trask hurt his Heisman hopes with three turnovers last night, and the way Bama's been playing, he'd have to be flawless in order to have any chance of nabbing the Heisman. I see the Tide rolling.

While several people were more focused on the NFL among other more important things, they may or may not have noticed Auburn firing Gus Malzahn after 8 seasons as head coach

Did see that. Malzahn departs with a 68-35 record at Auburn. They say what cost Malzahn his job was losing to a South Carolina team that had just fired their head coach.

 Conference title favorites:
Conference USA: Marshall (-7) over UAB
PAC-12: USC (-5.5) over Washington
Big 12: Oklahoma (-6) over Iowa State
Big 10: Ohio State (-20.5) over Northwestern
Sun Belt: Coastal Carolina (-3.5) over Louisiana
ACC: Clemson (-10) over Notre Dame
SEC: Alabama (-17) over Florida
AAC: Cincinnati (-15) over Tulsa
