I understand that, if Bob Barker or an announcer, or even a long-term or notable worker on the show, were to pass away, there would probably be an obituary in The Talk is Right.

But here's what I'd like to know.  What would be the protocol on obituaries for past or present models if any were to pass away?  Would the obituary thread belong in The Talk is Right, or woukd it go in the present year's Obituaries thread in Out in Left Field?  Considering models have had a history of coming and going, many having short runs, it's possible that many models are not considered notable unless her name is Janice, Holly, Dian or Rachel.

I’m not sure the point of this question, but as with any former member of the show, I would assume their obituary would be posted in this section we’re in now.

Of all things to discuss right now, this may take the cake as most random.
We have found ourselves in the middle of a situation that is truly unprecedented.  Our favorite game show has taken unprecedented steps to get back on the air with new episodes in its 49th season.  Sure, it will look and feel a bit weird at first, but at the end of the day, it’s still the same show we all know and love.  And despite some of the rhetoric you may hear, whether it be on the news or here on this very board, this is most certainly not a “new” normal.  The ‘normal’ we loathe so deeply will return.  Might be next year.  Might be the year after.  Until then, appreciate this era of the show for what it is and look forward to the day when we have ~300 screaming fans packed inside the Bob Barker Studio at CBS in Hollywood once again — hopefully very soon.

Pardon my language, but I do believe we all need to calm the f*** down.

I'm reading it as "I read that [insert former cast member's name here] recently died, and I don't know how to break the news". So I ask FanOfDrew87 once again, who passed?

As a matter of fact, the obituaries for those involved with the show will appear in this section, and if you look here, you'll see the most recent one for Tom Kennedy, who hosted the nighttime show back in the 80s.

Nobody passed.

But I believe it prudent to plan for any eventuality.

Asking posting protocol really could've happened in a PM.

We're getting unnecessarily morbid.
CSS Champion - Season IX (Part II); G-R Recapper - Season 44 (Part I)

And if you win that trip, you travel to the end of the Golden Road, where we have the most expensive prize ever offered on Golden Road.net!!!! IT IS MORE THAN $481,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Wild cheering and applause) LOOK WHAT WE HAVE AT THE END OF THE GOLDEN ROAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOUR OWN PRIVATE ISLAND OFF THE COAST OF TAHITI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You and your whole family will fly round trip coach from Los Angeles to Tahiti where you'll sign a deed to a 2-mile across, 2-mile wide island 25 miles off the coast of Tahiti. This island includes a beachouse and more! And if you win this island, you'll recieve A NEW CADILLAC XLR CONVERTIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

I mean, obviously is a key member if the personnel were to pass away it would be discussed, but I don’t think Joe who was a production assistant for 6 months in 1988 and would occasionally hold up the cue cards for Bob is going to get a mention.

Okay this is weird, morbid, and going nowhere. Clearly the extended hiatus is having an effect on post quality. Be patient folks; it's nearly over, I promise!

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Clearly the extended hiatus is having an effect on post quality.

If I see anything else like this, the person who started this thread is going on an extended hiatus.
