Today's open reminded me of the days when Bob would tell a joke before pointing out the first item up for bids. Drew did the same (with the theme still playing).

Plinko: Well, 100 dollars is still 100 dollars, in a way. This reminded me that the regular dollar amounts (except for the center) haven't been changed since the game's debut nearly 40 years ago.

Did I hear someone in the crowd yell "Higher!" when the contestant was putting the products in order during Hole In One (or Two)?  Yes, I know, I know. :-)

Drew taking the inspiration putt holding a mic seems so weird. I would of thought he would avoid doing the putt altogether this season due to social distancing.

* There seemed to be a lot of small edits in the show today, like they ran way over time during the taping and had to find every second to save to get it down to the required time.

* Deirdre's playing of Clock Game wasn't awful; if she had known the two "small" prizes in this game are always between $500 and $999 (inclusive), she may have won.

That's never been really explicit to the casual viewer. I don't remember how many Clock Games it has been since we had someone who never guessed above $1000.

Maybe I overestimate their abilities, but I think the audience could have helped with That’s Too Much. No way that car is around only 20K.

That's never been really explicit to the casual viewer. I don't remember how many Clock Games it has been since we had someone who never guessed above $1000.

Out of the five Clock Game playings last season, two of them never did; only the third playing on February 4th stayed within the $500-$999 range through the entirety of the game (which was poetically described as "sloppy but capable" by vhs; on paper it looks okay with a buzzer-beating win).
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

Fun episode. Props for Drew and George's reference to The Big Lebowski in the last one-bid round.

You really didn't miss anything from that game, as Beth had virtually no chance of winning with her two bad putts.
