Sarah & Buzzy Cohen answered some questions about the scheduling of the upcoming Tournament of Champions from this week’s podcast.
  • October 31 - November 7 are the six quarterfinal games.
  • Election Day will be special programming.
  • November 9 - 11 are the semi-finals.
  • They assure fans that TV listings will not spoil the outcome of the finals and assume that they will mark finals games 4-7 with the words - if necessary. With regular gameplay resuming on any day following the Tournament of Champions.
And as for the upcoming Celebrity Jeopardy! spinoff on ABC, according to this article from Entertainment Weekly, Aisha Tyler, Constance Wu, and B.J. Novak are among the nine initial celebrities competing. And as for the show’s format, an article from TV Guide mentions it is a tournament.
