Taped on the same day as #1255D, although this one appears to have a different audience given that they taped 4 half-hour shows in a single day back then.

Probably did, then. One audience would see the first two shows, then they'd release them, have the next audience come in, and do the final two shows of the day.

This one just crackles with energy. Bob always ran a superb show, but every moment here was used to its maximum potential - holding attention through the fuzz of the fringe and poorly aligned sets.

I've always wondered if the original set design was optimized for black and white sets.

The changes for '75-'76 remind me of the uniform design for the original Star Trek, the red, blue and gold playing to NBC's advantage as an early adopter of color broadcasting.
