OWP being played here continues to make no sense to me and never will. So what that Triple Play was on the nighttime show this week? It was clearly subbed out since the cars were all least to most expensive and lined up with typical ARPs of Triple cars lately, never mind that the first half was very close to 3 quickies. And why was the contestant on the turntable for this entire segment?
S4x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

When they revealed the first car with the One Wrong Price backdrop I thought they made a silly mistake using that instead of a car backdrop. But then they revealed the other cars and I was like, hmm weird One Wrong Price for 3 cars right after we had Triple Play last night. I was pretty sure the Corolla was the correct choice, the price was a little too high.

OWP being played here continues to make no sense to me and never will. So what that Triple Play was on the nighttime show this week? It was clearly subbed out since the cars were all least to most expensive and lined up with typical ARPs of Triple cars lately, never mind that the first half was very close to 3 quickies.
Because they clearly didn't want to repeat two big games on the same week. People aren't going to really care/notice if Push Over shows up a second time, but seeing Triple Play again would clearly be weird, especially when the cars in TP weren't that much more expensive than the OWP cars. I feel like this wouldn't be an issue if they hadn't kept this lineup exactly the same. As much as I love something quirky like OWP for cars, OWP/PaN/DX should not be a half that exists.

And why was the contestant on the turntable for this entire segment?
My assumption is that so there'd be a good background for the segment. Unlike TP, this is a game where you need to see all three cars at the same time so, Drew and the contestant would have to be far away from the doors. Based on previous examples (like when ME was played for cars), they would stand by the edge of the stage and play with the audience as a backdrop. Well, there is no audience, so the backdrop would be curtains, panels and floor. The turntable makes for a better setting while still providing the proper distance to see all the cars.

Little disappointed they went with a disjointed TP-style reveal instead of doing them all at once (a la Superball/ME for cars). I can see why they didn't do it like the MDS and have all the cars behind the same door. The MDS was played for three of the same kind of car (MINIs) and they were shown from the front. This better shows off the cars.
