24 I had heard he was actually. Shocking though....I remember it being speculated he'd be the last champion Alex ever had in his final weeks....had hoped he would be too. RIP.

I've just been told some sad news from the Facebook page of Bob West (original voice of Barney the Dinosaur) that Phyllis Cicero, who played Stella the Storyteller on Barney & Friends, has passed away after a liver cancer battle.

For me, I never really got over him insisting 18 years ago that Donovan McNabb was being overhyped as a quarterback simply because of his status as an African-American, and thus never took anything he said seriously thereafter (to his credit, of course, McNabb handled that situation with grace and proved Limbaugh wrong in that regard by leading Philadelphia to the NFC championship game that season and Super Bowl XXXIX the following season).

I saw him in concert about 18 years ago. He was a great singer and songwriter.
