Not unexpected, end of January to resume is a little optimistic I think.

You know what, bravo for them for giving it a go and taping the amount of shows they did. If they shut down until the Fall when things are quote unquote back to normal, I'd have no complaints.

Just use the time to get new big doors for the 50th anniversary season!

I think there will be a few weeks of reruns from February 24th.

Does seem sort of surprising that it would impact something that (unless that hasn't been mentioned) hasn't been an issue?

You hear of cases from many places, but have there been any cases reported to be connected to shows being filmed?

Taking extra precautions giving what's happening, particularly in Los Angeles/California, is entirely reasonable given what's happening there, is entirely reasonable.

No cases connected to Price taping that has been reported, but California in general has had a large rise in cases in recent days. As a result, many studios are suspending or delaying production.

I often wonder why is there a surge that had been previously been praised for being a model state? Some say it's Newsom's fault, others say it's people telling the CDC to screw off.

With the new Covid variant and Biden expected to be much stricter on lockdowns and restrictions to combat Covid, I have a feeling production will be halted much longer.  I hope I'm wrong.

Because people aren't listening and cops are busting parties like this.

I'm a gif.

Isnít it a state issue? 10th Amendment?

It is a state and local matter, but the president has a big bully pulpit and can use it as they wish...if they wish.

You're right. A lot of people forget last spring, when Trump was bellowing he was going to force states to reopen their economies. States told him he couldn't do that, and he stopped that talk.Heck, Trump lives in DC and cannot get its mayor to loosen up.

Biden will have reign over federal property, but in terms of getting states to loosen or tighten up, not so.
