What an exciting win in 10 Chances! The contestant had 5 chances to get the auto, and 6 reasonable “zero rule” prices. She got it on the 10th chance. A good thing the set up for the first prize was pretty easy. What suspense! This is why 10C is one of my favorite games.

Painful loss in Magic #. Such a wide spread though. I would have selected $3500.

If someone told me that 10C would be won twice this season by 2 players who knew how to play and know about the 0 rule, I would of laugh. Today showed if you know how to play 10C , you deserve to win.

I'm wondering now if we will see more winners, with people watching and noticing how the game has been played and won this season. (Now is the time for a $51K - $98K auto!)

Hmm, the first playing of Magic # this season was well setup with the price difference, but today it was an over $4,000 difference. Painful loss for sure.

Nice to see Cliff Hangers on a better track the last two playings after a bad start in the season.

Another properly played 10 Chances!

Magic # just dares them to lose. And they do.

Does the lever just need to move the magic number faster? This has been happening for years now. It's completely absurd.

I know it has been discussed before, but I really wish they'd make the Magic # a cash bonus (much like they do with the + or - amount in Do the Math).  Maybe that would entice contestants to not want to stop so low.

There was something perversely satisfying about seeing Magic # be lost by $34.  I wasn't rooting for Lamont to lose or anything -- it's just that there's a pattern of people making guesses that are absurdly low when you take the second prize into account, and it almost seemed inevitable that this would happen sooner or later.  The whole thing reinforces my belief that the staff's current philosophy about the game is that they can make it as ridiculously easy as they want and half the contestants will still find a way not to win.

Ten Chances, on the other hand, was a thing of beauty.  Chanel clearly knew how to play, yet it still managed to be suspenseful because of that fourth chance it took to win the phone.  It would have been absolutely heartbreaking if she'd done so well and still ended up losing.
