Some noticeable observations about this episode:

1. The license plates for cars still used the T.P.I.R. logo as well as the design which began around 1981 with it being slightly altered later in the 80s. Sometime between this episode and no later than December 11 or so of 1990 the new license plates came into use.

2. Vanessa was the tryout model for this episode, given that Bob didn't mention her at the beginning after the 1st IUFB, she was on at least the previous episode as well (back in the day when a new or returning tryout model tried out on the first episode of the taping week, Bob would mention the model trying out).

3. What was the first contestant thinking when she guessed 3 for the first number in Golden Road when there was already a 3 in the price? It was obvious that either she didn't understand the game, and/or didn't realize that the first two prizes in the game don't have any repeated numbers.

And of course, another rare Gallery Game playing on this episode.

It's shows like this that have me wonder if the rumour that Gallery Game was only won once during it's short lifespan is true

^It is not true.

Gallery Game was played 24 times and won 9 times.
The above is my opinion and mine alone.

To answer your questions: yes, I am a guy and yes, I have a face. (I also have the occasional spurt of weirdness.)

I know it's not true hence why it was a rumour but every unearthed playing of Gallery Game I've seen has been a loss aside from the S19 premiere.

Hey ... can’t blame her for wanting to improve her odds winning the piano. ;)

This is also the earliest known episode with the third green/gold Giant Price Tag design. The wheel "boops" are still the same as those introduced in Season 7, changing to the current "boops" by the Christmas episode.

I thought it was 9 in Gallery Game as it made the most sense, but like I've pointed out in Games Long Gone over at The Review Is Right, the numerous reasonable possibilities of the missing digit (every one except for the 1, 4, 5, or 7) shows that this game was unreasonably hard for just a standard one-prize game.

Still, nice to see another episode from arguably the most recent season where only a small amount of episodes circulate.

Interesting. I shall not spoil anything. What I meant to post yesterday in a different thread somehow got deleted and what ended up posted...was not meant to be posted. It was a messed-up mix-up. I'm being much more careful now.

Actually October 25, 1990 is currently the earliest known episode that has the third green/gold Giant Price Tag design, though I don't know when that design was first used on the show (probably used at the same time when the fourth incarnation of the Race Game curtain came into use).
