Wait, there's no 85 on that Freeze!
This was a bad lineup and thank god for OWP.
SC's were a bit cheap today, too.

(also seriously, if you think you can get a living room for $2,360, you're nuts.)

Bring back Penny Ante, but have it with 3 prizes, one grocery item/prize, 5 pennies, and a $3-5K bonus for playing perfectly, and maybe, just maybe, I will enjoy the show more.

Edit: The showcases are better, so the show is being enjoyed.

4 out of the 6 contestants got dollars today. I want to say that's happened before with a 3/1 split, but still, extremely rare. This might be the first time there's been two bonus spinoffs in the same show. It was also weird that both showdowns started with 75 and 1.00.

Unfortunately the rest of the show was an absolute bore, so these notable showdowns will just be a footnote in history.
S4x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

The 4 dollar spins was definitely a nice rarity on what was just another 1/6 show. Other than that, i knew Lucky $even would be lost as soon as zero was picked as the last number when the contestant had no dollars remaining and how the prize in Freeze Frame was not going to be less than $3k.
Lackluster lineup as well, as the last show that started with Plinko/Safe Crackers (7864K) had 4/6 games in the exact same slots as today, granted this was in 2017.

Stack The Deck! One of my favorite games, which I would still like to see played for a $51K - $98K auto (right after 10 Chances? :) ). I would have earned all 3 free digits; asparagus is relatively expensive and frozen fries relatively cheap. I would have lost the car though; I too would have chosen $21,___.

Though Bob would not have laughed at his own joke, I thought Drew's "I am offended" and "disappointed" comments before the price reveal in Freeze Frame were quite funny and pretty Barkeresque. :-)

That was indeed a terrible guess in Freeze Frame, funny how much Drew chided him for it.

Tough Stack the Deck setup with a more expensive than expected car and the Vicks/crayons pair being the only easy GP to guess. That was a big bag of fries for $1.47.

Wow the wheel was generous today with two dollar bonus spins!

Don't you mean 4 since there were two in each showcase showdown?

Someone has to come up with the odds for how rare it is to have both showcase showdowns end up .75/1.00/1.00 and then both winning by a nickel.

Since you asked, it's time for some math...

1. Probability of 0.75/1.00/1.00 happening in one showcase showdown, assuming contestants follow proper strategy: 0.68%
2. Probability of a spinoff being won by 5 cents: 9.5%
3. Probability of both in a single showcase showdown: 0.072%
4. Probability of both in both showcase showdowns: 0.000052%, or about 1/19091

Freeze Frame: As soon as Justin stopped at $2860, my mind went to the Clock Game playing where a college student thought dinnerware would sell for $100. I'm glad Drew roasted him similar to the way Bob roasted the contestant during said Clock Game playing ("Just what kind of show do you think this is?" :oldlol:)

Lucky $even was a rollercoaster, going from the pain of losing $3 on the second number to the thrill of getting the next exactly right, then back to the pain of losing $3 again, and finally to the headdesking agony of Josette auto-losing by picking 0.

Freeze Frame was equally stupefying, but it was fun to see Drew go full Bob on Justin for that ridiculous guess.

I cringed too when Justin stopped the price at $2860.   But Drew's reaction was priceless and Justin deserved that roast from Drew.   I do admit Justin was a good sport after that so he took his loss well.

In hindsight, I would have lost Freeze Frame too, I pegged the dining room at $5114.

Not sure if I brought it up here before but I hate how Drew throws the dollar bills all over the place and on the car in L7.  Like they did with Plinko, they should have a stand with all seven dollars bills on thick card stock lined up vertically.  After each pick, Drew removes the right # of bills from the stand.  This way everyone always knows how many dollars are left.   I wish they did the same with the Showcase, where Drew has a stand with the two showcases prices in their envelopes on a stand of some sort that matches the Showcase podiums so you know which price tag is for which Showcase.
