When was the last time before this episode that they offered a non-cash prize with a value of "up to" something?

I also wonder what would happen if the contestant won and wanted Raiders tickets; apparently, every seat in the stadium is already sold to an existing season ticket holder with a Personal Seat License.

What a great win in That's Too Much!! And what a sweet looking Camaro. :-)

I was only off by 31 cents in Check-Out. I also would have won the Mitsubishi offered in Five Price Tags with my first pick. Those of us who watch regularly have seen that same model and color vehicle over and over again. :)

When was the last time before this episode that they offered a non-cash prize with a value of "up to" something?
Good question. Quite unusual.

They definitely were going for a Super Bowl tie in today, I'm surprised there wasn't more done since the game is on CBS this year.

When was the last time before this episode that they offered a non-cash prize with a value of "up to" something?
The same prize of NFL season tickets for any team worth "up to $10,000" was offered on the most recent primetime episode. Besides that, not sure.

A great win in That's Too Much for sure, just too bad Five Price Tags was quite the opposite with just one selection and a very cheap car.

Recap posted.

Just a little note if you didn't have closed captioning on. Instead of Linda, someone else named Jessica was listed as the first person called down in the intro. Wonder if something happened.

They definitely were going for a Super Bowl tie in today, I'm surprised there wasn't more done since the game is on CBS this year.

This show was also taped two months ago, long before they knew which teams were even in the playoffs let alone the game...

Honestly I liked the fairly loose tie-in. Aside for the NFL ticket package (which $10 says they'll just pay the cash equivalent for, especially since for some teams season tickets are near impossible to get), they were able to somewhat theme the show around football while still appealing to the general public. The second showcase was very well done for that reason... while there was the football theme, even non-football fans would enjoy all of those prizes.

"Change isn't always good. Sometimes changing things is a terrible mistake." - Bob Barker

People are tired of the f**kery and drama, but if we'd actually talk to each other sometimes instead of a whole bunch of private conversations with other people, it'd go a long way to perhaps fixing the problems most seem to see in the site.

Wait, how come Check-Out was won? Was it a 4 dollar range you had to be within in order to win on Check-Out just for this episode only?

I liked that it didn't go overboard with the football/Super Bowl tie in also, I was just surprised they didn't do a little more football related content since the game is on CBS this year. Of course, they couldn't have the guests in they for previous Super Bowl shows and as you said it was taped nearly two months ago so they didn't know the teams for the game.

Wait, how come Check-Out was won? Was it a 4 dollar range you had to be within in order to win on Check-Out just for this episode only?
No, that was a mistake.

OK, I thought that was a mistake. Very nicely done win on TTM!!! That was seriously not expected. It's one of the toughest games out there!
