Yep, I saw that wipeout in It's In The Bag coming. I don't have a pet, but I'm enough of a regular viewer to know that canned dog or cat food is usually pretty inexpensive. Great comeback for the contestant with the showcase win though, which included that nice looking Mini Cooper convertible.

Fantastic Cover Up win as well. Was a little strategy used there? :-)

I sure miss the old lighted neon cover-up display that would go bonkers when the game was won. Just out of curiosity, didn't one away have neon words that would alternately flash if the game was won?

Still gotta wait until 6PM ET to watch what I missed due to CBS News coverage which is the first IUFB and the car that was offered on Dice Game today.

Even not having seen that part of the episode, you are closer to that car than the contestant will ever be.

Good lord that was, quite possibly, the worst decision in the history of Dice Game.

Recap posted.

My opinion on Dice: I don't think it was a pure dumb move, but I get the sense his logic was that there's a chance of a 6, knowing how the show will do that once in a while and took a risk. That risk failed.

It's common for contestants to get burned by going with the odds, so other than the thousands digit (but sometimes even that can burn you), I can never really fault the contestant for it.

The risk definitely failed, I agree.  However, I didn't have a problem with Kenneth really going against the odds either.  Based on all the times I've seen Dice Game, it's more probable than not that they'd do what they did.  Even with them having a 1 in the prize of the automobile, as was the case here, I'll never have a problem with a contestant if he or she went with the odds, win or lose.  Go figure that it was a 1 when he though the 4th digit was higher than a 5.

As much as I don't feel bad about the situation, it does suck for Kenneth, but not the worst decision in Dice Game history.  Not even close.  He wins if he goes with the odds, but the total of wins I can recall when someone went with the odds without a correct number rolled or a 1 or 6 is in the single digits

He did have the last digit wrong also, but wow did Kenneth make a curious decision going higher on the 5 for the 4th digit.

Drew commenting on Candis' bidding and her responding to him from Contestant's Row was great. They might not have been able to hear each other with a full audience there.

Things didn't look too good for Buffie in Cliff Hangers after her second guess and then guessing a price lower than the 2nd SP for the cotton candy maker, but she lucked out with it being just $2 more than the massager.

I sort of get Jill thinking the sponges for $1.19, but the dog food was the clear choice there. The peppers being in the last bag rather than the toothpaste was surprising.

It seemed like Drew was going to have George call the next contestant down but then corrected himself and threw to commercial after Flip Flop (I think that's when it happened).

Buffie was lucky to win Cliff Hangers.  She made some awful bids that happened to be just close enough not to kill her (or the mountain climber).

Jill had a great shirt and seemed like a really nice person.  I felt terrible for her in It's in the Bag -- she got stuck with an unusually tough setup.  I'm glad she rebounded and won the Showcase.

I wouldn't have won It's in the bag either because I too was certain that it had to be the sponges that were $1.19 and not the dog food. But, in all fairness, my sister's dog doesn't eat that kind of food so I wouldn't know. Dice game on the other hand, I would've done WAY better than Kenneth odds or no odds. Either way, I was still pleased to see 4 winners, ESPECIALLY the win in Cover Up.

The last wipeout on Its in the Bag was during the second week of Season 45 on September 28, 2016 when the contestant thought olives were 69 when it was actually the dog food.

^There was one in Season 46 also, January 16, 2018, where a man didn't think an Arizona Iced Tea was $0.99.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."
