It’d been a while since I’d seen someone lose everything in Pay The Rent. The contestant was pretty close indeed to a winning arrangement however.

I too would have lost the car in Lucky $even. Three high numbers in a row?? 9-8-7? Well, there was a pattern there. 😊

Fantastic Five Price Tags win! And…

Kevin certainly stood out today with his suit, bow tie, and classically-shaped facial hair.

Pay the Rent had 4 solutions, including a rare situation where the cheapest item could go in the mailbox:

Olives (1.99) < Potatoes + Fiber Thins (2.29 + 7.44 = 9.73) < Creamer + Sausage (3.99 + 6.49 = 10.48) < Maple Syrup (10.99)
Potatoes (2.29) < Olives + Fiber Thins (1.99 + 7.44 = 9.43) < Creamer + Sausage (3.99 + 6.49 = 10.48) < Maple Syrup (10.99)
Creamer (3.99) < Olives + Sausage (1.99 + 6.49 = 8.48) < Potatoes + Fiber Thins (2.29 + 7.44 = 9.73) < Maple Syrup (10.99)
Creamer (3.99) < Potatoes + Sausage (2.29 + 6.49 = 8.78) < Olives + Fiber Thins (1.99 + 7.44 = 9.43) < Maple Syrup (10.99)

As Drew pointed out, if the contestant had switched floors 2 & 3, she would've had a correct solution. So close!

At least we had 5 Price Tags and the Top SC as our car wins today.  Although it cannot make up for what happened today, Aubree gave it a shot in Pay The Rent.

Tough break in Pay the Rent, would've won if she switched the two floors as Drew said or if she switched the sausage and fiber thins. I was between the sausage and fiber thins being the 2nd most expensive, and I thought the potatoes rather than the olives were the least expensive.

Kevin was such a great contestant, he was kind of a mix of Uncle Sam and Willy Wonka with his outfit. Wish he won his pricing game, but he did get to the Showcase at least so Drew could continue playing off him.

Very mean Lucky Seven setup, it was an accomplishment to even get to the last number with an extra dollar to work with. I picked 7 for the last number.

I thought the fridge was the pretty easy choice in Most Expensive, though I didn't think the camera package would be as expensive as it was. George walking off slowly back to his podium was fun.

Nice recovery on the SPs in Five Price Tags, and then the win in 1 pick!

I'm going to dress like that when they allow an audience again.  Maybe it will help me get picked!
