It's pretty nice to win two T-birds on TPIR!

I remember that April Fool's Showcase. But nothing can beat the Showcase  with the grandfather clock that shattered into into a million pieces, the dining room set where the chandelier crashes down and destroys the table, and the beat-up 1964 Dodge Dart that crashes through the wall.

According to the clip on tpir.tv, the car that crashed through the wall was a 1964 Plymouth Valiant.

That was on the April Fool's show in 1983.  A clip is available at tpir.tv.

Yes, I have seen that clip before. Did Beatrice end up winning her showcase, or did the other person win?

Also, I dont know if it was April Fools but there was another clip from tpir.tv about a showcase featuring really odd prizes including a phone that lowers when you pick up the phone, a photocopier, a home gym by Nautillus and a Bertone (type of car like a mini-Ferrari)

I thought Beverly and Shawn did really well with their showcase bids, according to what I read.

I'm sure Shawn was a happy camper after winning those two Thunderbirds.

Okay wpghi5, you can knock off the sexist drivel. I've counted at least three times you've made that unneccesary comment.
