Another Double Showcase Winner!! :)  "You win BOTH showcases!"

I liked seeing the bucket slide down the ramp at the end of Let 'Em Roll. :-)   Daniel seems like a great guy. I would have rolled again as well.

Good show today, with a returning contestant from Drew's first season as host along with the Double Showcase win by Monique being a surprise. Though I may have been one of the few or the only one who thought she had also gone over on her showcase.

And I found the recap from Daniel’s original appearance, where he fell throughout the show that people at the time thought he was drunk, along with having something show when he tripped while coming to play Push Over that CBS blurred out.

I made a post a few weeks ago about a statistics project in which I hypothesize if contestants’ Showcase bid accuracy had gotten worse because of the absence of an audience.

The answer to my question: HELL NO!!!!!

Did she really think it was just random numbers being placed and not the car price in Cover Up? That was pretty odd.

And I found the recap from Daniel’s original appearance, where he fell throughout the show that people at the time thought he was drunk, along with having something show when he tripped while coming to play Push Over that CBS blurred out.
I bet Daniel is happy there's no audience right now, one less place for him to trip and fall! Reading that recap there was another contestant on the same show that fell, and it got to the point where they called the fire department to make sure they were OK and check out what they fell on. His first episode is notable for having the first Spelling Bee playing of the Drew era with the cards increased to $1,000. Oddly enough, Barker's Bargain Bar was also played for two trips on that episode.

Bargain Game was about as big of a forced win as you could get. No one in their right mind would've not picked San Antonio.

Another Double Showcase Winner, the third in less than two weeks! Something must be in the water there right now!

Anyone else notice $27,891 (ARP2 today) was the SC2 bid yesterday? Now that would have been quite the exacta!
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I feel like with the increasing number of “random” bids, we're bound for another exact bid. Who knows?

Besides the obvious three DSWs over two weeks, it seems to me we've also had our share of winners with bids less than $1,000 away (do we have a term for that - SLEEH?)
All opinions expressed here are well-reasoned and insightful. Needless to say, they are not those of the Price is Right, or any organization for which I have worked for or will work for. Anyone who says otherwise is itching for a fight.

I can't believe we got another double showcase win.  Third one in eight shows.

I don't remember Daniel's first appearance on the show, but looking at the recap thread, I think I vaguely remember the discussion about it.  Given all the wheelies he pulled the first time around, the most amazing thing about today might be that he tripped over himself on his first spin and ultimately didn't fall down.

Not only that, but one where a bid ending in 000 or 500 wouldn't have done it. A price ending in 294 is just asking for, "You missed winning both showcases by $44."

Roadgeek Adam, you do have an error in the recap.  The prize in Freeze Frame was $5,098, not $7,624.  The contestant still won.

You can't get a DSW from a bid ending in 000 anymore. Ever since about Season 40, there's only been one or two showcases that ended anywhere from 000-250. I believe there was someone earlier this season who had a bid ending in 000 and was <300 away. Monique might have been aware of this new unwritten rule, hence ending her bid in 250. There was also someone either this season or last that ended their bid in 251.
