Do you know how many people would really appreciate a $15,000 car, especially if it was given to them for just winning a 2-minute pricing game?

The show should be embarrassed to offer $15,000 cars in 2021.  That's all.
That kind of bothers me, too. Back in 2005, the pricing games mostly offered cars ranging from 15K-25K just like today. How come that hasn't changed 15 years later, but the other pricing games have gone to no longer having sub-5K prizes? Are cars just slower with inflation?

To respond to the last two comments, of course winning a $15K car is better than nothing esp if you don't have a car or if it's on its last leg.  But in 2021, the $15K-$16K cars make the show look "cheap" to the home viewer who wants to see more exciting prizes like cars over $20K or ideally over $25K.   And cars certainly are impacted by inflation but the show continues to intentionally offer the base models of the least expensive cars.  I definitely appreciate they have a prize budget but they should look to cut corners in less obvious areas.

Many might also prefer winning the lower priced vehicles, as that way they have to come up with less money to pay the taxes for them (which could be an issue if someone has an older vehicle that they may not have too much money available).

I mean... I would be happy winning a $15k-16k car in just a couple of minutes, but that's just me.
