Those who know. Those who don’t, well On Whew! On Monday.  To start the show.  I never knew him, but he is game show fan royalty.

I will now have saved on my DVR, three awesome GS moments, all from the 70s.

CS bank breaker
MG record setter (at the time)
and now Whew! one and done-r

All three examples of it was about the game stupid

I first watched today's episode of Whew! way back in high school and I was entertained by it. However, seeing it on TV was a truly different experience, I was grinning ear to ear at what was going on. Monday's episode is going to be awesome, yet bittersweet to watch.

On the plus side, it featured the most dramatic Long Shot call by a contestant, someone running into 5 blocks in one round (including a stuck trilon, no less), and the most dramatic Gauntlet win I've ever seen...with no time left! This means, per Tom's comments, more than $100,000 was given away in one week.

I'm hoping that the episode we all wanted to see airs on Sunday at 7:00 PM ET or 7:30 PM ET on Buzzr.

So it was today!  Still felt like I saw it “live”.  What a treat.

I don't care that the commercial timings for this episode were screwed up. I was so happy to finally see Randy's big moment on TV after reading about it, the story behind securing this episode for him, and seeing the clips online.

The best part is knowing that at least two of the next three episodes have Gauntlet wins.  It makes me think they ran this one episode out of order so the true fans will watch the rest of the week.  Well played Buzzer (sic)!

When Randy's episode got skipped, I downloaded the (really crappy multi-generation) copy from YouTube and compared the runtime to the timing between breaks on the botched episode. It was an exact match. So, the episodes got loaded in backwards.

By the way, I know that Whew! used an odd production number format -- e.g. #A-132D; is the number portion what Buzzr is putting in their program guide?
I didn't get called down, but the guy next to me did
