Pushover- Ouch! The moment that Kelly stopped at $6,550, I had a feeling she had lost.

Master Key- Wow! who would have thought that Jamie had both the key that opens nothing and the master key?

In The Bag-The moment that Gwendolin put the draino on $10,99, there was no doubt in my  mind she had lost.

Dice Game- Nellena had no problem with this game.

(Bag) Wow...once again, the audience denies someone more riches than she should have earned. But hey, Gwen went with them! Still, too bad there.

(Freeze) Don't know what everyone was thinking when the price of $3,611 was chosen for the TV. No way, no way!

Dice Game was an easy win, while today's Master Key will probably go down as the most interesting. All in all, a nice show.

Pushover: To me, the spa was a tossup between $6,550 and $8,290. It didn't help that this wasn't one of the familiar spas we've been seeing lately.

Master Key: The small prizes were pretty easy to get. Nice win!

It's In The Bag: The third bag was the only hard thing in the lineup, and it was a tossup between the Aspirin and the Calcium. That's a shame, because Gwendolyn looked like a nice contestant.

Danger Price: I would have lost here, because the computer didn't look so cheap. The bed looked more like it was $1,318, but it turned out to be even more expensive. And the intruments are getting expensive recently! Too bad Keith couldn't duplicate his reaction from getting out of Contestant's Row after winning this game.

Dice Game: Nellena knew what she was doing, especially after saying that the second number was higher than a 4.

Freeze Frame: Could you believe that TV was so cheap?

Showcases: Given that Kelli clearly underbid on her showcase, I thought Keith had a fair shot. Sadly, he couldn't take advantage of it.

Overall: OK show, but nothing spectacular.

Bidding Round #1- #229, Jamie, AND #230, Nellena! :-D

Master Key- Cool, picking the dud and the master key doesn't happen often. Neither does a win in this game, which was nice to see today.

It's In the Bag- That was pathetic. Absolutely pathetic.

Showcase- Trailers may be random, but come on, they sure as heck aren't that cheap.

BEST CONTESTANT OF THE DAY- Good contestants today. I can't pick; it's up to Frank.

SHOW SUMMARY AND GRADE- Lately, TPIR hasn't been overly spectacular or overly bad. It's been pretty solid as of late. Today was no exception... Grade: 3

Push Over: The first 0 made me lock in 6550 as a choice. But then I saw the other 0 for 8290. "Could that be it?" Yes. "Aww!"

Master Key: I cannot recall to the best of my own personal knowledge when a contestant gets the nuthin' key and the Master Key. It feels like a historic moment to me (at least only me).
I know the game is old, but not that old to call it old.

It's in the Bag: The 4K and 8K bags were confusing, especially when Gwendolyn picked the CLR for the $10.97 bag. I had the strong feeling that she's wrong about this. She solidified this by saying that she "came with nothing... and so on". I just couldn't think of where to put the Bayer. Knowing it was worthless made it easy.

Danger Price: Wonderful play. I just didn't think the drums would be that much.

Dice Game: Oh! I know there have been plenty of cars that end in 5. But I had the fearful scare that the last number may be 1 or 2. At least my confidence overran my brain on this one.

Freeze Frame: Once again, I'm thinking this prize might end in 0. But then, I thought, "maybe 5", but there was no way it could be 9925 (or 8225). I totally locked in 2599. How in the world did Matthew think it was 3611?!???

I wanted Keith to bid around 22000. I wonder how he'll be if he did......

I will have to agree that today's playing of Master Key was very historic, where a contestant picked the dud and master keys.

I'm curious if, in Master Key, Bob knows what keys the contestant has.  In particular, in this case, it was much more dramatic to go from dud to all than the other way around, and so I'm wondering if Bob knew to do it that way or if we got lucky.

Master Key: Wow, I never witnessed a plyer hitting the dud first, then the Master Key ever.  That was something, wasn't it?

IITB: I had a bad feeling Gwedolyn would lose once she said CLR drain cleaner as the 4K bag.

Dice Game: I was scared when Nellina rolled the 3 as the last # and said higher.  I was wrong.

Showcases: I would have went with $19,000.  $13,333 wasn't even close.  I said $24,000 in my head for the Equinox.  $19,000 wasn't even close.

Overall: It was a fun show for hump day.

The very first time I saw Master Key in 1983 the contestant had the dud key and Master Key.

I doubt if Bob knows which key is the Master Key. I've seen at least one episode in which the contestant won both keys and the Master Key was the first one used.

Pushover: I was personally thinking $8,290, though $9,065 wasn't too unreasonable... $6,550 just didn't look like it was enough - and it wasn't. :-?

IUFB #2: Why, oh why, oh why, oh why, oh why, oh why, oh why do fools fall in love with fools like... Oops, I'm sorry... Why do contestants feel the need to bid $1 if they aren't fourth? Ugh.

Master Key: Wow, a contestant getting two keys.. And what an exciting playing - to go from picking the dummy key first to the master key? Sweet...

It's In The Bag: Gwendolyn should've followed her first instinct and gone with the Citracal... After not doing so, she should've taken the $2,000 and ran. :-?

Danger Price: Pretty obvious here: Avoid the computer.. And that is what Keith did...

I was quite stumped at that bowling equipment being so cheap. But then again, I didn't get a real good look at the balls, and really didn't do much shopping on Ebonite's website for shoes or bags... But to be that cheap, those had to be the Maxim balls, which are about $60 and have plastic covers..

(Yes, I bowl, and yes, I own an Ebonite ball, but definitely not a Maxim)...

Dice Game: Nellena scared me for a second with that first roll - I was worried she'd go lower and shoot herself in the foot.. And that last number made me a bit nervous.. But it worked out for her.. Hope her husband enjoys her old car!

Freeze Frame: Being just the TV, $2,599 made sense.. None of the other choices did... $3,611? D'OH!

Showcases: Wow, talk about a couple very low bids...

$13,333 on Showcase #1?! Yeah, it worked out better for Kelli than my bid would've ($21,000), but that wasn't even in the same zip code...

I was thinking $24,000 on Keith's... $19,500? That's not an HHR... :-?

A couple of painful bids - as in painful to watch... Oy.
In loving and eternal memory of a truly beautiful goddess.

pushover: i guessed $6550 as well. it could have been either of those two, but she was unlucky.
master key: i knew both sps, and this is a rare occurrence to have the dud and the master key.
iitb: no reason to get to less than $4k. even occasional viewers know $10.97 citracal, but the audience made her change her mind. but the clr in the $8k bag......EVIL! i always knew it to be $4.99. the tums i knew was $3.99.
danger price: i would have picked the computer first and been dumb. i have seen $2k computers before on this game. is that $235 bowling equipment the cheapest prize ever used in this game since when prices like that were common?
dice game: easy today, and a lot of luck made it even easier.
iufb 6: $3295? wow. they must have sold the winnebago back and used all the $$$ on these kinds of iufbs.
freeze frame: tough. i wanted to go with $2599 and would have right.
showcases: i knew both had lowballed, but i suspected kelli would win. i would have bid $21k on the trailer (ouch! over by $438!  :-( ) and $25k on the car, as i know an equinox can be expensive.

One-Bid #1 - No, that is not the same Keith Butler that has a snowball's chance in Hell of defeating Debbie Stabenow for the U.S. Senate seat in Michigan.  :-D

PG #1 - Roger's making Pushy tough again!  Aside from $2,906 and $0,655, every other price up there would've worked.

PG #2 - It's seems like forever since somebody has won both keys.  WOOHOO!  Somebody finally pulled the master key!  :-D  :-D  :-D  When was the last time somebody got both the junk key and the master key?

PG #3 - Man, Roger has been absolutely hellbent on slotting the SP and GP games back-to-back the past six weeks.  OK, how does somebody not pick the calcium for the most expensive bag?

PG #4 - Yay!  Danger Price!  :-P  Well, if they're gonna play the wrong Danger cue, it might as well be Starcrossed.  :-P

One-Bid #6 - $3,295 for that puny thing?!  Talk about your friggin' random sailboats...

PG #6 - Should not have been lost.  All the prices ending in 0 or 5 were obviously wrong.  $3,611 made absolutely no sense.  $2,599 was the only price up there that looked right.  And once again, the PG prize was cheaper than the previous IUFB.

Showcases - "No, Keith!  That won't cover the car's price!"

Final commercial - "SHOOT THE TVs!"

My bids - FRTS:  $17,591.  Car:  $27,500.
Well, this week was supposed to be a return to normalcy, but that's clearly not allowed.  Since you feel there is no need for this week's FPG to continue, I feel there is no need to continue as an FPG host or a G-R.net member.  Since most people are so desperate to push me out of here, why delay it?  I would have preferred that everybody publicly admitted it rather than string me along for the last two days, but it is what it is.  I am hereby resigning as FPG host and moderator, effective immediately.  whammy007 is the new permanent host.  No R-rated rant or airing of grievances from me.  Just a polite "goodbye for good".
