It's in the Bag was won! Plus, Stan Blits got his well-deserved on-air recognition. In case you read this, Stan, best of luck during retirement!

While the above ^ was great, let's not forget they can't manage a budget at all. Already hard times in MoL and L7, lol.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Before the pandemic, anybody who got to be a part of the TPIR line experience within the past 15+ years saw the enthusiasm that Stan brought to the contestant interviews. And let me tell you, that enthusiasm was genuine, day in and day out -- Stan loved getting to talk to everybody who came to visit the show. The audience's energy fed into him and he reflected it back as he talked to each person, which resulted in the audience bringing that energy into the studio, already prepared to have a good time. (And on the subject of energy, just think of how much energy it takes to interact with that many people multiple times per day throughout the week. I get exhausted just thinking about it!)

But it wasn't just his enthusiasm that made Stan so good at his job. Even though he worked under multiple showrunners, he was always able to adapt and discern which audience members' personalities would best fit the bill. Being able to simultaneously meet 300 new people two (or three!) times a day and make them feel welcome while secretly determining how to bring the necessary contestant energy to each episode of The Price Is Right is a difficult skill, but Stan made it look easy. He was that good at his job.

And to top it all off, he has a great sense of humor and was always a pleasure to work with. For decades, Stan has been an important part of The Price Is Right's success, and his contributions will be difficult to replicate.

Have a great retirement, Stan -- you deserve it!

Thanks for sharing your sentiments Scott. I only got to attend the show once and was interviewed by Stan just like everyone else. And what I remember about that whirlwind is that I felt valued as a person. He was looking for fun people and knew how to find the right cross-section. And even in not being picked, Stan genuine interest made everyone feel like they had that "one time" chance. That's a big part of the show's energy.

In my opinion, both More ore Less and Lucky Seven had DOB like setups.  There is no way that the average contestant would think a pair of paddle boards would cost more than $3000.  Lucky was a forced loss because the last number was nine and most contestants choose the five as their final number.  Great showcase win!

What a great win in It's In The Bag. And congratulations to Stan on his retirement. I'm pretty sure he loved working at Price. 43 years is a long time. I'm hoping to make it to 30 at my job, then I'm out! :-)

Never would have thought that a firepit would cost more than a 4K TV. I would've left them as is too. Great showcase win!

Anyone who guesses 0 in Lucky Seven deserves to lose.

I did love the “It’s the big one, Elizabeth,” for In the Bag.
