Usually a sign of a very mediocre show when I get the recap up and not a single person has posted in the last 8 hours. :P

That said, something that caught my attention, does Thomas seem like he might be in the early stages of dementia or something? He seemed a little unfocused from Drew and seemed a bit unfocused of his surroundings. Caught my attention, cause normally no one blows off Drew completely on the shoutouts at the Wheel. Never said a word, then his response to winning in the SCs seemed, delayed.

The pricing game lineup for this episode was considerably different than I thought. Had there been an actual FPG, my choices would have been as follows:

1. Clock Game (W)
2. Let 'Em Roll (L)
3. Take Two (L)
4. One Wrong Price (L)
5. Back to '72 (W)
6. Ten Chances (W)

I was really shocked to see Five Price Tags get played, as there were already two SP/car games played this week. Given that fact, and given that two earlier GP games this week were "regular" GP games, while the two others were played for cash, I thought that selecting a GP/car game made sense.

As for the gameplay on this episode, Squeeze Play and Balance Game were simple, and I've never seen a playing of Magic # that was this easy.

Drew’s first explanation of Magic # to Thomas was “…any Magic # that’s higher than the price of the snow bike OR lower than the price of the trip to Colorado…”, a condition which would be met no matter where Thomas set the Magic #.  Though he later reiterated the rules, albeit perhaps ambiguously, “Any number higher than the bike, lower than the trip”, I wonder if they would have had to give him the win anyway had he lost 🤔

Agrees, it was a mediocre show.  Balance Game played for a car + Squeeze Play + 1 Wrong Price sums it up 😕

. . . {S}omething that caught my attention, does Thomas seem like he might be in the early stages of dementia or something? He seemed a little unfocused from Drew and seemed a bit unfocused of his surroundings..

I noticed that, too. I chalked his miscues up to him being a little hard of hearing. And maybe a little nervous/awed by being on that famous stage. I know I'd be!

Brackets changed to braces by Steve.  I see what you were trying to do, but unfortunately, that's the coding to activate strikethrough.
