Getting four numbers wrong in One Away is the best initial outcome you could hope for other than getting all the numbers right. Especially if you know the first number is a 2.

Also, I was not expecting the last number on Lucky Seven to be near the middle, much less the contestant getting it exactly right. I would’ve guessed 2 on the last number.

after the middle 8/9, I was sort of expecting a 4 there (and was guessing 4). I didn't think they'd go extreme evil 892 there. I woulda wiped on the fourth digit though, expecting low rather than high.

Great One Away win.

Flip Flop was mean tho. And the Belize/Kia showcase was surprisingly cheap.

I certainly couldn't be more glad to have seen both One Away and Lucky 7 won the way that they were. I just only wished that the showcase round had a better outcome. Frankly though, I would've bid $22,000 on the showcase with the trip to Belize and I would've been close to a DSW.

Anyone else bothered that C-O's difference was lit up as "4", instead of ".04"?
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

Anyone else bothered that C-O's difference was lit up as "4", instead of ".04"?

About 7 years ago, someone won on Check-Out with a difference of a single Penny and the display read “ 1” instead of “01.” The decimal point isn’t part of the display — rather it appears to be a tiny paper circle meant to look like part of the four-digit eggcrate display. In order for the readout to show “.04,” it would have to show “04,” and since the eggcrate display they’re using apparently functions as some sort of calculator, it may not be able to show leading zeroes, which is why the display shows “ 4.” This is more of an educated guess I’m making.

In layman’s terms, it’s time for the Check-Out display to get an update. I still find the eggcrate displays very charming, though.

Some fantastic wins today! One Away? Bam! Check-Out? You know it! Lucky $even? Let's go!!!! xlx :-) :-D   (Both the contestant and I said "4" for the last digit there; I was clapping heartily from my seat.)

Fun show to watch, up until the double overbid.
