Mediocre show.  Maybe a tad bit over average, and less in terms of wins & losses.  Nice show comeback for Devin after the opposite occurred in Any Number.  Just tough luck to loss with the price being a Dice Game price (a car they could've used in Dice Game).  Meanwhile, a true comeback for Cliff Hangers.  I thought the contestant was doomed.  At least that was the pace.

As for Cover Up, no good, but nice to see the Classic Shell Game as a part of the Wrong Price section of the gameboard.  Yeah I'm bias, but in general the wrong price thing is something the show has nailed in a positive way since they started doing it

I actually remember seeing the debuts of both Race Game (and I remember being disappointed that it wasn't a car game) and Card Game (IIRC, the first time it was played, they didn't use a normal deck - just a special deck with, IIRC, 3 cards each from 200 to 1000 in 50-dollar increments).

Speaking of Cover Up, this was another example of when to use my strategy and start with the first two digits being 38 (or 10 or 12); the first two were obviously 18, so playing 38/10/12 meant that you are guaranteed to get at least one right on the second turn.

Boy, did I misunderstand the gum in Grand Game. I thought it was 15 packs of gum. After that, I assumed the chicken was a trap. Turned out it wasn't the chicken.

How do you celebrate the show's history?  Why, by playing Barker's Bargain Bar without the lights working, of course!

Apparently, (what I assume was) the first playing of Card Game started without any cards on the table.  That's a little weird.

Holy crap were the lights on the Showcase podiums bright today.  They stood out so much that at first, I thought something else must have been darker than usual, because I couldn't imagine them being that noticeable all by themselves...but evidently, they were.
