I can't get a handle on what the budget is. I shouldn't complain about Bag being 2-0, but wow.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I’m not even sure if back-to-back Bag wins have occurred in my lifetime.

I don't know whether or not you were born before the game made its debut in 1997 during Season 26, but I couldn't tell you off the top of my head (without looking) when or if it occurred at all after nearly a quarter century.  I think it did but what a tough feat.

Nice Lucky Seven win.  Thankfully it wasn't one of those cases when the last digit was a 1 or a 9.  Seeing a 5 was a pleasant surprise

I went to the tpirstats.com website to answer this question myself. For context, I was born between Season 28 and Season 29. According to the site, back-to-back Bag wins occurred exactly once, in Season 33: May 26, 2005 and June 10, 2005: http://tpirstats.com/Season33/PG.html.

I thought Bag was an easy setup. The only one I wasn't 100% certain of was the last bag; all of the others were pretty obvious to me.
Falsitis strikes again on 5PT. I thought the one SP that was actually False was the candy dispensers; since it was a pair of them, I didn't like the price of $63 since it was an odd number. It didn't make sense to me that a pair of things would have an odd-numbered price.

You're right in most cases, but here's a thread with an answer from Scott about how that happens.

One thing that came up in Discord: James's win on That's Too Much! was playing on the TV in Double Cross... and then they proceeded to offer that exact car in the very next game.

I thought they'd try to avoid things like that from happening, but I guess no one is going to notice that in-studio.
"If any show, forget sports, Price is Right, [the audience is] the star of the show. Somebody... coming on down and losing their minds, and ... crying, that's the show. The show isn't me, the show isn't necessarily [a] can of soup, how much that is, it's watching people go bananas, and there's going to be some of that missing."

-Drew Carey, interview with Athletic, September 16, 2020

"I honestly thought the doubler was gone, but 9821 going $0 makes sense"

Well...I guess that could impact some car games. I probably wouldn't have thought about it, though.

what's interesting is that in my episode, the first item up for bids was a TV and showed a winning of Side-by-Side where the price was eerily similar (almost exact) to the price in Pricing Game #2. The TV (when Drew introduces Jimmy) shows a winning Side-by-Side price of 9274.

The Side-By-Side played in Pricing Game 2 had options of 9276 or 7692. The correct price was 9276.

I noticed it during my game and was backstage during Pricing Game #2 and thought it was weird at the time the price was so close to what had been shown. Evette chose 7692 and lost though.

Probably both coincidences (esp since this is the second time my clip has been used on an in-show prize TV), but interesting!

Laura's friend was just dead wrong in Cross. And she wasn't thinking at all, she did realize she was wrong just before she lost. But hey, Price is the ultimate audience game!

We joke every time 5PT shows people get "falseitis", but I really think that was a case of it here. She was thinking it over and fell into the trap of "it can be anything but that price" when you need to be thinking in the producer's heads. Then she ignored the nuts saying 25k.

I think usually they would avoid stuff like Cross TV / car in 5PT, but clearly the car shortage is affecting their rotation - the cheap car this season is consistently the Versa, and it seems to have limited options, enough so that it was left easy at the end in L7 today, shockingly. Additionally, they seem dead set on offering bigger prizes in general for S50, but I fear what will happen later in the season at this rate.

It seems Five Price Tags has at minimum three "True" prices and has for a very very long time.  Seems the best strategy is to say true every time to earn 3 out of 5 picks for the car.
