Leat did a good job making her rearrangements in Race Game. That was epic to see what officially goes down as the second double dollar spin of the season, and Kenya really cleaned up today. Also, hello to an old friend in the "Trip Down Main Street" showcase, but I wish that we could've heard the "Big Banana" or "Every Trip/Room in the House" cue to partner with it. Oh well.

At least one winning combination in Pay the Rent:
Attic: Detergent ($12.99)
Second floor: Turkey breast and wafers ($11.98)
First floor: Nasal mist and rice ($10.49)
Mailbox: Peppers ($4.29)

No surprise: no winning combination involved the rice in the mailbox. One of these days, Pay the Rent will be played by someone who knows not to put the least expensive item in the mailbox.

Also, good to see a double dollar on the wheel.

Attic: Detergent ($12.99)
Second floor: Turkey breast and wafers ($11.98)
First floor: Nasal mist and rice ($10.49)
Mailbox: Peppers ($4.29)
I would have went with turkey breast on the bottom (6.99), then vanilla wafers and peppers (9.28), then saline spray and rice (10.49), then detergent (12.99).
I think the only other winning combination is wafers (4.99), then saline spray and rice (10.49), then turkey and peppers (11.29), then detergent (12.99).

Question for the boffins: is this the most cash won by somebody who didn't play Pay The Rent and wasn't on an "inflated cash" show (e.g. Big Money Week, or the $50K win in Back To '72)? For some reason, I want to say somebody once won $11,000 in 1/2 Off and $26,000 on the wheel.

Coincidentally, on episode #9571, there was a S'pore trip offered, only to be lost in an overbid (B: $26,000 ARP: $25,849).

Ironically, had Karen bid $26,000 instead, she'd  have won (with a $584 difference, and a $51,490 victory total).

But, obviously, that's all coulda-woulda-shoulda.
