Whew! Set question
« on: April 06, 2022, 05:14:32 PM »
I’m curious how did they unveil the light bulbs in the middle of the set, every time they would break it apart to play the Gauntlet. That part really fascinated me in recent viewings.

It is actually two different set pieces. The base used for the front end game only goes up to the background flats. The board is station right behind it. They replace it during the break with the one with the lights for the Gauntlet.

That explains it!   I've been wondering about that for the longest time too!

I just realized I misread your question. I'm gonna assume it's similar to Super Password. A cart that attaches to the end of the set and just swings it 90° off camera. You can kind of make out where it might attached on to during the closing of A-104D. The camera pulls out just enough to see the edge of the set on camera left.
