What a great show to wrap up the week!  After a slow start, a nice run with 4 out of 6 games won, including a Perfect Half Off and a nice car in Card Game.  Not often you're seeing a cash game winner spin first in the SCSD.  Cover Up today featured Hurdles, Cliff Hangers, and Danger Price to honor 1976.  Nice to see the hurdler and that old skull again!

I can't say that the potential for a perfect show was there.  One Right Price, while a legit coin flip, was fairly easy, but Cover Up, which was not won, was tough.  Second day in a row with someone wanting to change their mind after it's too late (in Pick A Pair).  Unlike One-Bid yesterday, it wasn't a big deal or necessary based on the rules and the outcome.

Push Over for a nice Netherlands trip is so underrated and special.  In addition, pretty easy too!

SCSD & Showcase rounds were pretty good, and painful.  35 winning it in the first half is rare, but more amazing and even more rare since it was off of the conclusion of a three-way tie.  Tough luck for the Card Game winner where she nearly tied in her first spin, but it didn't flip over.  Then when she almost won with the second spin, it flipped over.

Two cars (one for each showcase) following a show where $11,000 + and $24,000 car was won was exciting to see.  The difference between the two SC players was very close, but those are the exciting moments that help maintain my interest (though without them, I'm still watching)

All of today's episode except for the showcase price reveals was pre-empted in the Pacific time zone for General Powell's funeral service

Eastern time zone got the Powell funeral service right at the start of the end credits.

When Card Game was won today I noticed that, on top of the usual winning bells/dings, there seemed to be additional bells/dinging akin to a slot machine payout.  Or else it’s been there for awhile and my hearing suddenly got better in time for yesterday’s and today’s shows 😆

Also amusing was Drew wondering out loud about whatever happened to Hurdles 🚧🏃🏼
