Meh, while it's easier to say as much at home, I think she could've continued just a little bit more.  While it was a painful loss, she had a $5000 range.  Much more room for success compared to most of everyone else that's played the game

As an on-and-off viewer, I feel like Drew needs to do a better job explaining the rules of To The Penny. I wasn’t aware until the very end of the game that the contestant would lose the money they had earned if they ran out of pennies. And if I’m not aware, I bet some contestants aren’t aware either. He just needs to explain it a bit better.

Swap Meet is a good game, but that set… wow. I half expected to see Washington and Buffalo playing in the Super Bowl after the game. It badly needs a set revamp. It is so early nineties.

Secret “X” for a car? Awesome. It’s my favorite game because you never know whether someone will win or lose. Today, an amazing win.

That Card Game playing left a really bad taste in my mouth.

It seems to happen a lot where the contestant stops when they should draw at least one more card. That's also the case in the Barker eps on Pluto. It happens way too often and it irks me much more than it should.

If there's ever going to be a tie, a $x500 difference between SC ARPs is going to be it (since $x000 won't happen). I'm a bit sad that didn't come to pass today.

For once this was a good use of a non-car. Pa# for a car, as much as I hate it, also wasn't that bad in the recent Seat lineup.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

The results of both car games surprised me today. I didn't think the Mazda was going to be more than $25,000 and I figured the X would be at the bottom since it usually is when they play Secret X for a car. Happy to be wrong about the latter one!

After watching several ThP playings now, if still feels as if something is "off" about it. There are too many elements and feels like a game designed by-committee (which it probably was).

"Let's bring back Penny Ante for Season 50"
"But, let's play it for cash"
"Then we HAVE to add a money tree"
"And an all-or-nothing component"
"How about we let people eliminate a wrong answer, like a lifeline!"
"Yeah, if they're still wrong they can buy another choice...like a lifeline!"

I think this game could work better as a straight game of "spend a penny for every wrong guess; you go broke you lose everything." Reduce to 4 pennies to make the last level no better than a 50/50 shot at the $25K.
