How often are the items in Grand Game (or any "dollars and cents" game besides Grocery Game, for that matter) themed?

Oh, and yesterday's ad did show the result of today's showcase - thanks for the spoiler, CBS.

The recap is up.

So, a few things.

For one, the 1st item up for bid had something in its description edited out. The television clearly has a BluRay player in the right lower corner. However, this fact is edited out in the description. The closed captioning did not edit this out and still notes "A BluRay player is included."



Anyway, this is the last show until December 6, 2021, where we will pick up with episode #9621K. Have a good Thanksgiving and break. As for me, I'll be working tomorrow, not eating. Someone's gotta make deliveries for the few places open.

How often are the items in Grand Game (or any "dollars and cents" game besides Grocery Game, for that matter) themed?

Grand Game has used themed products before on a holiday or theme show, otherwise I can't think of any other grocery product games that have besides Grocery Game.

I thought the rolls as the last product to choose was a pretty easy choice, I wasn't surprised the juice was above the target price.

Most Expensive was a total toss-up, while Range Game and Bargain Game were gimmes.

Ouch, tough break for Timothy on his Showcase bid.

Though it is understandable that someone may think the juice was lower than the target, since there are other brands out there that would qualify.  Kedem is just a bit more expensive (being it is from a wine making company, and also a Kosher item, most likely being the reasons for it being higher).
