Happy Birthday Mr. Bob Barker!!

I'm not sure about a special show, I don't think so.  However, I imagine some channel (Buzzr or whomever) & maybe CBS could honor him with a special marathon (not just TPIR if at all, but his work throughout his career)

Happy 98th Birthday Bob Barker!  We're all rooting for you to make 100!

Maybe rerun his last ever show on his 100th?
Adjustments that should be made to pricing games to make them fairer: Secret X: Add a 3rd SP so that perfect pricing ensures a win. 1/2 Off: Add a 4th set of SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Master Key: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win. Rat Race: Add 2 more SPs so that perfect pricing ensures a win.

The following pricing games should be retired because there's no way or no easy way to make them fair: Spelling Bee, Plinko, Punch a Bunch, Pass the Buck, Let em Roll, 3 Strikes.

The following retired pricing games should be revived: $uper $aver, Give or Keep, Buy or Sell, Hurdles, Bump, Penny Ante, Credit Card, On the Spot, Split Decision, Add em Up, Walk of Fame, Barker's Markers, Magic Number.

Happy Birthday to Mr. Barker. Grew up watching him regularly; my favorite game show host for decades.

It's been a while since we've had an update on Bob's health but I certainly hope he's doing well. After all, he made it to 98 which is fantastic. Happy birthday, Bob! Thank you for all the years of joy you brought us and continue to bring us thanks to PlutoTV.

Even if Bob makes it to 100 years old, he may not be the first living game show host at age 100 by that point.  Betty White - who hosted the short-lived game show Just Men! for three months in 1983 -will turn 100 next month, assuming she doesn't pass away during the next several weeks.  However, I am not sure if there were other game show hosts to live to age 100.

The closest that I know of is Monty Hall, who made it to 96. I'm not aware of any who made the big 100.

Happy birthday Bob! Here's to triple digits!
CSS: Exacta, 6/3/2019
Lifetime earnings: $1,896,732
Season 18 cash earnings: $629,243
Season 19 cash earnings: $490,110
FPG: 2019-2020 Finals Champion

Live for the present.  Embrace the future.  Our favorite game show is still producing excellent, high quality, exciting, hour-long* shows every weekday throughout its traditional season window.  It’s as good as it’s been in a long, long time.  If the 1980s were the ‘good ole days’ for the Barker era, so is RIGHT NOW for the Carey era.  Don’t worry about what the future holds.  It will play out in due time.  Enjoy what we have right in front of us in the meantime!

Right, because it's all about what WE could gain from his birthday.
Torgo has left the building. John and I never really cared for the way he presented himself.

Don't you think it's possible that he was conveying two different ideas (one being hopefully he reaches 100, another being what, if anything, CBS would do for his 100th birthday)? I didn't really get a "selfish" vibe.

Somehow, I was afraid you might have jinxed something when you posted that (assuming she doesn't pass away during the next several weeks.), and sadly, I'm afraid you did.
