Tickets, Anyone?
« on: December 20, 2021, 08:19:17 PM »
I've been looking for tickets to attend a taping, but the phone number on the FAQ prompts You to enter Your phone number and then it says it's no longer on record.

Over the past two seasons, the contestant selection process seems to be sketchy.  Clicking for tickets on the official site will direct You to a contestant application.

Speaking of which, would any recent attendee be kind to tell Me how You were invited to do an interview?  Text, Phone or Snail Mail?

As I understand it, the only way to get into the studio audience right now is by passing the audition process which starts by filling out the contestant application. There's no way for people who don't want to be contestants or who aren't eligible to just go to a taping and watch. This does make sense given the limited size of the audience these days, but I would love to attend a taping again if they open it up to "outsiders."

Ah, the response from an actual contestant.  :)

Does Your badge represent Your air date or tape date?  Which game did You play?

4/15/19 was my air date; the episode was taped 2/6/19. And I'll give you a hint about what game I played: there's a reason I chose my avatar .

yeah your only way of going right now is to make it through the audition process or to be the guest of someone who does (guests are in fact, eligible!).
