Betty's agent reports she died of natural causes. Some people are trying to claim she died of a COVID booster shot she got three days earlier, but it has been discredited.

She didn't even say anything about getting the vaccines or not. In fact, she stayed home for pretty much the entire duration of the pandemic.

SMH, these people.

To steer away from a likely debate about the booster. Both Buzzr and GSN are airing tributes this Saturday featuring Betty White's game show appearances, and digital subnet MeTV has moved up an originally planned marathon of The Mary Tyler Moore Show to this coming Sunday.

And I highly agree with what Briguy said about awarding Betty a posthumous Presidential Medal of Freedom by recognizing and honoring her accomplishments and impact on American culture and life.

Godspeed to one of the most versatile talents around. She was a queen, a Password master, a Pyramid ace..... an all around great talent. She really could do it all. As I've said before, my ethos is that of being grateful of someone having been there, so I raise a toast to Betty on an amazing life. Here's to her.

Per Buzzr's FB page, the Match Game day is moved to tomorrow (the 8th). But everything else is as-is.

In addition to the obvious specials (that were still slated to occur prior to Ms. White's passing), a ton of work, a ton of her work will be available to everyone including myself, pretty much forever.  A lot to choose from whenever you need or want Betty on the TV, or in today's world, one's computer, PC, smartphone, etc.  That, IMO, is very special, whether people are able to catch this weekend or next weekend's specials and marathons or not.

Sure wish GSN would run $100,000 Pyramid with Betty on it here.

Thankies for the heads up. Shows where my attention span is at.

I think Comcast's on-screen menu is drunk. On Monday from 12 to 2 ET they have a college basketball game listed on Buzzr instead of the What's My Line? / I've Got a Secret / Tattletales block. I'll take it as read they're wrong.

EDIT BY ALFONZO: Merging birthday wishes with this thread.

Apparently here, Fox's coverage of college basketball gets parceled out to Buzzr so the main station can run MLK Jr. Rememberance services. So no 12 to 2 shows unless I tap into Pluto or Roku to stream it.
