Speaking of Louie Anderson, it's just been revealed by his publicist that he had been privately battling cancer for a decade.

Howard Hessman, who was best known as Johnny Fever on WKRP In Cincinnati, age 81 of complications from colon surgery. He also starred on ABC's Head of the Class.

WKRP was of note to us in Atlanta as creator Hugh Wilson based it on his time as sales director of then Atlanta top 40 station WQXI (it's now a brokered Korean station).

Yeah I follow some of the Head of the Class actors/actresses on Instagram.   I read their responses to Howard Hessman's death.   Oh it really hit them really hard.   Especially Kimberly Russell and Khrystyne Haje.

Legendary NBA coach Bill Fitch, perhaps best known for leading the Celtics to the 1981 world title, and with successful additional tenures with the Cavaliers, Rockets, and Nets (where I personally remember him best), passes on at 89:

Two-time PBR Bucking Bull of the Year, 001 Smooth Operator, has passed away.

I got to see this bull in person several years ago and was even able to talk to his owner, Chad Berger, about him. This was his baby and the best bull head had over the past decade.

No new deaths to report, but I have a question.

Do we really need to still have the thread on Betty White's death and 100th birthday a sticky topic? Especially as it's been a month since anyone made a post on it. Look, I get why it was made a sticky topic, given what a huge figure she was in game show history and how she suddenly passed away weeks before she would've turned 100, but I think it's time we not have it be a sticky topic anymore.

I really don't want to be reminded of it every time I browse the Out in Left Field thread, so can we please remove the Betty White thread from the top below the 2022 obituaries thread?

Comedian/magician The Amazing Johnathan died yesterday of congestive heart failure at the age of 63: https://deadline.com/2022/02/the-amazing-johnathan-dead-comic-magician-las-vegas-1234958646/

The article failed to mention that Johnathan hosted a short-lived syndicated game show called "Ruckus" in 1991.
