Country music star Naomi Judd, age 76. No cause given.

It says she took her own life. Damn. I never knew she struggled so much.

Actor David Birney from St. Elsewhere died earlier this week.  He turned 83 just a week ago; Mr. Birney, who also starred in the brief sitcom Bridget Loves Bernie, had Alzheimer's disease.

Ray Liotta, best known for his roles in the films Field of Dreams, Goodfellas, among other films has passed away at age 67. Cause of death undisclosed though the link I shared reports that he died in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was shooting a film.
