Great win by Tanya in TTM, but a painful loss from Raul in Bonus Game.  I always hate when a chance at perfection ends on the 4th prize; seems to occur on a rather tricky prize where the Bonus is.  Meanwhile, eventual winner Tanya opened the show and closed things like a pro.  Very well done!

$3,000 in TTP.  Meh.  I'm never going to get bitter over someone walking out with $3,000 more than they started with, but I don't think I've ever seen someone win so much by doing nothing to earn it, IMO.

There was great discussion in Discord about what to do in this situation going forward.  I know the same is the case for Rent where the players there can earn $1,000 for also practically doing nothing.  For me, it's worth the risk for $5,000 & $10,000 at that point compared to risking $3,000 with a 25% chance to survive and get to $6,000.

Not something I'm losing sleep over, but I wouldn't be surprised if TPIR altered the rules to make it a little more difficult in Season 51.  But hey, money is money!

Speaking of which, the Big Wheel has sure been hot this season.  I wouldn't be too surprised if they actually gave away $78,000 in a single SCSD the way things are going!

Adam, this is the nit-picky correction to end all nit-picky corrections, but in the SCSD #2, you have Icynda’s bonus spin of 5˘ labeled as .5 (which would be 50˘) instead of .05.

That one wrong price should have been pretty easy. The price given for the drum kit was almost five times higher than the MSRP. Maybe the pressure got to him and he couldn’t think straight.

Maybe it will become normal in To The Penny to spend a penny on the first item, then just keep guessing for the later ones until you decide to stop. Mary could have had the right price with a 50/50 chance on the second item, but she wanted to play it safe.

Was that the same Raul who lost $263,000 in 1 vs. 100 a number of years ago? (Clip below.) If so,

a) Even if it's just coincidental, it's very appropriate this episode aired so soon after Bob Saget's passing.
b) Raul has the absolute worst luck in game shows.

More of a nerdy observation than a comment on the show content: it was neat to see Bonus/Any/DP played together in that order, back to back.  The nerdy part - first seen #0064D, 10/12/72
They can be close at the top, too.

b) Raul has the absolute worst luck in game shows.

Perhaps, but as you know there's no luck involved in Bonus Game!

Great win in TTM to start the show, unfortunately things didn't go too well anymore from there besides Double Prices and the second SCSD starting with not picking the drum set in One Wrong Price.

Well that was definitely the worst playing of To the Penny so far. Where does she shop that she thought a bottle of Vitamin Water was $3.19? I didn't think the tomato paste would be $3.99, but 99 cents was also unlikely. Also, it was odd they still did the bouncing between the prices when there was only two choices remaining.
