10 Chances! One of my favorite games! And it was won, after a great start; seven chances available (six used) for the hybrid car. Drew was really trying to help (“One-zero chances”, asking about strategy, reading out what had previously been written that started with 24 thousand, etc.); mixed feelings about that.

Very good show today.  Perfect first half, and even though we got a winless second half, it was still alright with Alexa & her excitement, and then more won in let ‘Em Roll than just $500.

Despite 3/3 for the first half, a near disaster in Cliff Hangers to start the day & game.  Luckily Meredith offset that with a near perfect guess for the second prize before a safe enough bid of $50 for the final prize to win with one space to spare.  Switch was a true toss, and 10 Chances was well played for the most part.  Despite her penultimate chance, I think Vicki still knew the rules.  Might’ve been some panic there.  However, I had to laugh a little when she kept looking to the audience for help after someone gave her a price with a number that wasn’t a part of the second prize.

As mentioned, much better playing for Let ‘Em Roll.  No win, but $5,000 won is much, much better.  I guess it helped that there were only 2 rolls today instead of three!

Couples of things I left out of my original post:

I spent about half of the past hour or two trying to come up with a defense of someone bidding $200 in 2022 as the second bidder in One Bid, but to no avail.

Drew with the jokes today with eventual winner Alexa and the voice assistant app, but not before him joking with 3 of the first 4 contestants failing to get out of contestants row after three tries.  Don't think he does that often whenever the same player comes from the same spot in the first three games.

I had to laugh for a second when Drew told the only efficient spinner that the wheel has to go all the way around.  FWIW, it might have come up due to the fact that said spinner hit 25 on his first spin, with the tying score was right before it.

Speaking of the Showcase Showdown, the Big Wheel remains hot!  Drew even made a reference to it IMO, both during the first SCSD and in the second half before the second SCSD.  No extra money in the bonus spins, but another spin-off / bonus spin segment!

I have a feeling the 10 Chances player just thought for a moment that she had gone through every combination that started with 2 and ended with 0.

Also, I just noticed how much Let 'Em Roll has in common with Punch-A-Bunch - if you have $5000 (or, for that matter, $2500) and one roll/punch left, I wonder how many people would keep the money in each game.

Lately Squeeze Play has been remove the lowest digit of the choices, and win. And certainly in 241 the higher first digit is almost always right. They're still looking to shave budget in spots right now...

We were looking it up in chat and this is the first 10C-241 combo of the Drew era entirely. Curious.
S5x... the show's stabilized into something decent now, I guess...

I totally thought the first contestant was going to lose Cliffhanger, but she did a lot better on her second and third guesses. Friendly reminder that there’s a new TPIR at night with first responders on tonight.

Meredith got off to a shaky start and was fortunate the mini washer was closer to $30, but she did better from there and it ended up being a nail biter.

Besides that $24,067 guess, a nearly textbook playing of 10 Chances today.

I was thinking remove the 4 in Squeeze Play also.

Tough GP setup in Let em Roll, both could've gone either way. Don't blame him at all for taking the $5,000.

I'm really disappointed that Lawrence Olivier was called down during the opening.  That was something that needed to happen while Drew was around to point it out.
