The chances were there for the Alfa Romeo, and in chances, I mean more than one person earning a bonus spin with the chance at it.  Maybe itíll happen on one of the remaining episodes.

It may (or may not) have been a great laugh at Kariís expense while she spent most of Darinís time at the Big Wheel trying to exit the stage.  I guess she wanted an immediate backstage tour.  Seriously, where were the staffers to direct her back to her seat?

That aside, hats off to Kari.  She lost $8,000, but she was in great spirits after losing out of the car, and she basically committed to it from the get go.  No bailing out for her!

I probably wouldíve been lost for words (for more than one reason) had Balam assumed that his Antigua trip was a $2600 one

I couldnít even focus on Darinís spin because of that.

Also, bringing out Hole In One for todayís dream car makes me wonder if the producers did or didnít want the car won. Iíve seen plenty of people succeed from the farthest line, but at the same time, mini-golf certainly doesnít seem as easy it looks. Or fun, for that matter. But thatís just my opinion.

Iím thinking someoneís gonna win the Alfa Romeo this week.

Also, and this may be a very unpopular opinion, but I really like the idea of playing Plinko for $40,000 and a car. I know that the all-Plinko special back in 2013 was a terrible episode with very few redeemable traits, but I thought it was a great idea then and now.

It was definitely intentional by the director to keep the long shot during Darinís spin instead of a closeup so we could see Kari wondering around. It was pretty funny. You would think that they would instruct people where to go before the showdown.

If they didn't want the car won, they would have brought out the windmill - either that, or they would have made the first three prices really tough.

I liked the idea and the actual introduction: ďup to 40 thousand dollars and... a brand new car!Ē, Plinko sound effect into car music cue, shot transition from Plinko board to contestant to green doors opening and all. Very nice.

And I also didnít expect to see Hole In One... or Two for the dream car today. I was hoping (and still am) for 10 Chances. :-D

Though that almost begs the question of what the trade-off would've been if the contestant was given the option to ditch the windmill, like they've had in Big Money Week shows.

Recap posted.

This episode was a lackluster one. Bad lineup for one thing. Also, Plinko loses luster like that. Plinko's strength is in cash. Foltynewiczing with the setup is not going to help.

Not too bad of a show in my opinion, but could have done without Plinko for a car (I can usually go without Plinko anytime, but for a non-cash prize especially).

Not sure why all the resurrected car cues, but not complaining! Enjoyed hearing the MDS one today as well as the Match Game-Hollywood Squares again. I wonder if any of this resurgence will reflect on non-special episodes.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

My favorite part was hearing the MGHS theme along with the lights clearly malfunctioning in the background when it was a Corvette. Old-school car cue plus some kind of a blooper = priceless.
